Honestly, an absolute modern masterpiece. Between the vocals, the orchestral tones and instruments, and the forboding tones the song itself sets. You just get absorbed by it. Just, absolutely amazing what you've done with this one.

God the VIBE of this song. It's so heavy, so dark in a sense, cause I can see it as romantic! sure, two lovers wanting to escape, but then these lyrics "I feared that every flower that appeared had been uprooted by my peers" "but then my autumn prayers were heard" "And I'll have my just deserts" appear and it makes me question, just how pure is it really... Regardless, this song is SO GOOD! On a binge of yours songs and so far I have not run into one I did not enjoy ♥

A deep sadness takes over me when i think about how underrated yall are. I came from a web comic called HellPark, and they used your song 'great vacation' as an animatic. I checked out your other music because that one was so good, and holy shit. My favourite ones have to be the most upbeat with sombre undertones in them. I really adore 'Welcome to lady hell' and i hella wanna make an animation with it. All your music is just so rich and beautiful. It all feels like it has so much love and care packed into every single word. Im ashamed that i haven't heard it sooner. ❤❤❤

Might actually be your best song. Its the most played, on my end. It has that quality, enchante has. Don't know how to describe this. The chorus, inside the hiding place, somehow melds the masculine and feminine parts of reality, at least for me. Thank you Neil and Kate.. To many more years of songs, And symbolism.

Hey I just want to say, I have only just found your music through Spotify and only wish I found it sooner. I honestly love any kind of song about tragedy;, of murder, loss of love or life, betrayal, revenge, survival, family or found family. Especially with big dramatic music that only emphasizes those emotions; Dark Cabaret, Steampunk, orchestral, etc. Thank you for making such amazing music. I look forward to listening to the rest. :)

Dirt Poor Robins. Sorry if i do mistakes in this comment, I'm not good speaking english! You don't know me, I'm just a boy in this world listening your music. I just want you know I love your music, it is awesome and bring me in another dimension, same dimension i love to stay in. 23 years old, and I can't find other guys that can appreciate your songs, it hurts me, modern music disgust me and I can't understand why your fascinating pieces can't touch their souls as them touch mine. I would say other things, but as I said, I'm not skilled in English language, and i bet I've already wrote some bad sentences! And i don't like google translate too! Well, it's ok, i had to write this comment! Just know it, Neil, Kate(right?) and other members of the band, don't stop it, you have not 3 billions views like scum as despacito, but neither 1 billion people listening despacito win vs one of us is listening to your songs! Greetings from Italy! p.s. I promise i will take a C2 english level :^) .. (among other things, i need it for my academic career) p.p.s Geat Act. 3

Haha Keep it up

A beautiful and absolutely mind blowing masterpiece that had manged to hit me in such an emotional way, no other song I've heard throughout my 17 years of listening to music have I ever managed to cry on my first hearing. A song which had both evoked such a wonderful and much needed release of so many bottled up emotions I've gained over the years within my life, a song that feels so out of this world. Yet it felt so close to home, a song that I could never see myself getting tired of, always releasing my bottled up tears to for years to come whilst not feeling pathetic for doing so. A work of art I shall never forget and as to the band that had made such wonderful songs such as these. I have no real words on how I could possibly thank you for crafting such beautiful masterpieces such as this, thank you for this song and I sincerely hope that you get more recognition for what you create.

Gab rielle just deserts is correct. It's an archaic meaning of "deserts" that is almost obsolete outside of the expression "just deserts". Deserts in that sense means, "what is rightfully mine"

xRaevyn lol. "just deserts" is actually correct. It's an archaic expression with an obsolete meaning of "deserts" meaning "earnings". You're not the first to point this out. Desserts would be really weird. Like "imma gonna eat you" :)

The video for Solemn Dream has the line "Just when I thought my time had past". While not strictly incorrect it would make more sense to use 'passed'. However the listed lyrics in the description says 'pasted' which definitely ain't right.

This has offically became outer wilds song to me. This could relate to the game so well. It's theme really sums up how sad the contour of the game is. Repeated dying till you save everyone from the hell loop your ancestors set you on a path for in order to fix THEIR mistakes. I absolutely love the game but it's destiny was tragic to me and I feel like the game doesn't really get the characters involved with the mental health it would set on them

Desserts... is spelled wrong >.>
@dirtpoorrobins3 жыл бұрын
“Just deserts” is an old expression that means to be rightly deserted. It is normally used to imply an earned consequence of ones actions in a negative sense. However, in this song we flip it because he wants to be “deserted” on a distant star with his love. “Just Desserts” is something like a pun a bakery would make based on the original expression. 🤣
@bingolinging2 жыл бұрын
@@dirtpoorrobins I wish I could tell you how much this song sounds like outer wilds
