Last night, I was in a really unpleasant state of mind standing between "overwhelming boredom" and "extreme stress". So I decided to go and ask some friends online for song recommendations. The first person to reply, suggested this one. Safe to say, my mood went from [insert garbled text], to surprised and intrigued, then to "If it wasn't 12:30 AM I'd be clapping along this is such a banger". Your other songs proved to be just as enjoyable when I went to hear them too. To say I felt personally insulted to find such a talented band only had 25k subscribers would be a *massive* understatement; in light of that discovery I've decided to make you lot the first band I've ever subscribed to, and will do my utmost best to share these videos around so that others can get to enjoy your music!

I hear this song in two different ways: either from the perspective of a doomsday cult who are HOPING that the apocalypse is soon and they're trying to get other people to join them until they give up (the "sheep" in the last verse) or from an actual post apocalypse. The choice to add World War 1 footage to the film clip was weirdly inspired. I don't know exactly what element it brings to it, but bloody hell it makes that guitar solo hit hard. Very, uh... Bittersweet? Destrudo...? No, not Destrudo... is it the Soundtrack Dissonance effect? I dunno exactly what it's churning up. Maybe I've just had a rough week and it's just hitting some subconscious threads I've got going on. God knows. Sumthin'. War's bad, music good. Found the song via Spotify. Have been playing it on repeat all evening. Happy to see you guys have been at it for a while! Lots of music to choose from. :)

I'm glad this song is getting better recognition. I was here 2 years ago and barely any views. I found this song cause I was building a playlist for my dnd character, and I can’t even explain the feeling of finding a song that so perfectly fits him. For context, he’s a level 20 character in my friend’s dnd campaign. They also added their own blessing system, and my character has the death god’s blessing. This pc is practically a minor god of death in his own right, and is that world’s version of Thanatos, one who guides the souls of those dying from “old age” (he tends to inflict that kinda death but let’s not get hung up on the details). The most interesting aspect is that he’s played as a lawful neutral character, since he lives by the ideal that every person, thing or civilization meets its end eventually, and he only reaps souls that are near their end (or those that face him in combat, but again let’s not get hung up on the details).
