My friends had the exact same machine last year . In less than a year they put on nearly 3000 kms riding with us with zero issues . They actually sold it though this spring to buy a Maverick Sport X RC 2 seater . I have always been a Yamaha guy but I actually went out 2 months ago and drove 7 1/2 hours to Quebec and bought a Maverick Sport X XC and so far i have just shy of 1000 kms on it and love it !

Another great walk around! We have a 2 seat sport XMR in our crew and it has been incredible. We agree with your comment about the lack of low end grunt but I can say a tune really wakes them up. Can’t speak for a clutch kit but I’m sure that would be worth the money as well. Keep the vids coming!!

Have to say my 2021 has had some issues. 2 rear axles so far. ( Made in China). Propeller shaft rattle fixed twice by the dealer and still rattles. Can am doesn't care anymore as it's out of warranty. And the rear springs keep sagging I have adjusted them 7 times then got fed up and bought some from bandit utv. I have the tablet holder and it's great for phones or tablets. The grab handle doesn't need to be adjustable as the seat moves forward and back my 7 year old can reach it and I can reach it im 5 foot 10. Great gas mileage I can go 195kms before the tank is dry. The gas gauge is inaccurate to say the least. I have 1700kms on it now. And have spare rear axles ready to go . I was advised by the dealer there absolute junk. Doors were poorly aligned from the factory as well. The propeller shaft noise is a issue on x3 as well. Sounds like coins in a can rattling around between 5 and 25 kmph. Machine does drive and handle excellent. Burns about 300ml of oil every 500kms . Suspension squeeked alot . Buy some super glide off amazon. The grease fittings on the front sway bar is garbage there mounted to the bushing and pop out easily . I have used a new rzrxp4 for a week and I would buy the can am . The rzr was a rattle box and the door on the rear fly open randomly even after making sure there latched and the rzr belt slipped alot on hilly terrain even in low. The can am has had no issues with the belt at all. Oh and it doesn't come with the tool to change the belt thats$40 extra . 🙄

I have a 2020 max. Bought it the weekend after memorial day 2020. It now has 2200 miles on it. As a family of 4, and sometimes the dog, we have enjoyed every second of riding. Even took it from our home in WI out to the black hills of SD this year in July. Regular maintenance only. Need to start looking for a new set of tires as we do travel a fair amount of miles on pavement. I mean, why not? Can ride right from our house 17 miles to some of our states finest sxs trails. Love the review. Disagree with passenger grab handle because the seat is adjustable

Nice initial review - 2400 kms is just getting it broke in to see if there are problems, sluggish could be the belt or dirt clutches - but I'm sure they conducted an inspection prior to loaning it to you. I like the rear winch and with all those lights, someone put one pointing to the rear - smart. Cheers and hit the trails and see if it fits in the tight spaces.

Yup, i had same machine. I sold mine with 2,400 miles on it and not one issue with that machine. I changed the belt simply out of precaution at 2000 miles and it was still in great shape and i ran 32s on mine also. I have a bunch of reviews of it on my channel. I also had a dynojet tuner on it which made a huge difference. Clutching is horrible though it does need a clutch kit.

With proper maintenance I've never heard of any major issues with Can-Ams - the caveat being mud seems to cause a ton of issues regardless of how well you clean them afterwards. I have 5000km on mine and it's never been back to dealer - but I don't ride mud.

I watch almost every video you guys put out, the honesty and integrity is what keeps me coming back. Like this overview, the little detail about the passenger “oh crap” handle not being adjustable was a negative. As far as mileage goes for a year old model that’s a lot. An I think like you said it was a tour/rental rig which make sense with all the extras. Keep up the good work.

FYI- the passenger grab handle is in fact adjustable... the seat moves forward/back. The reasoning for other manufacturers having the handle adjustable is because the seat is fixed. Question. Any issues with driveshaft rattle? My 2021 Commander Max XT is now on its second repair within 850 miles. It seems to be a common issue in only the 4 seat mavericks and Commander's (which are 95% the same machine).

I like the sport 64", but feel that it is too upright for me. BRP doesn't include Smartlok across its sport platform, which it should. Locking that front diff is a feature that I'd want on any side by side. The most comfortable side by side I've ever sat in has been an X3, unfortunately I can't find that fit across any other manufacturer or other BRP units. I note that changing the oil filter on these units can be a pain. I think BRP can do better in terms of making maintenance easier, this includes trail access to change a belt etc. Just my opinion. Great video but I wonder about the repair history, warranty type failures for the unit. To me that is something I'd want to know.

First I want say is that you guys do an awesome job love all your reviews. I have a 2020 Mav Sport XXC that I bought new at the end of 2020 so it really has just a yr worth use, and at a little over 1000 miles and 58 hrs already the Trans output seal is leaking, water pump seal is leaking, one tail has already took dump, had to replace seal on top of gas tank cuz that was leaking and my doors rattle and squeak from day one. I ran the hell out my 06 Polaris 4 wheeler and after 10 years had to replaced front diff seal. I don't ride like that anymore cuz now I have a passenger and just basically enjoy the ride. So with this little time of use and issues already I'm afraid what this next season is going to bring.

Good walk around review. We get plenty of Can Ams coming through the shop mostly because the local dealer sucks and most won't ever go back. When they're right, you can't touch them, amazing machines. Repairs are complicated because of the design and the parts are expensive and hard to come by in the states. We've got a Renegade X that has a problem connected with the factory anti theft device, we can't connect to it without the factory computer to read the code, the next dealer gave us such a high estimate the customer doesn't want to spend big bucks for the parts and labor to maybe fix it. 2 years worth of dust collects on one of the most amazing machines I've ever ridden. We ride customers Can Ams and own most everything else.

Bought this in '19 and have it all decked out and very happy with it. Only issue was the 'drive train rattle' that is pretty well known (and happened very early on) that was fixed with a set screw. I would like more ground clearance (I'm now on 30s), that's about it. Agreed with most of the commentary in this video in terms of power. Most of the Maverick/Trail/2dr accessories fit on this, too, though you need to make sure before purchase. Great walkaround, love to see these on well-used vehicles.

I’m new to the sport you gave a very good review of what you felt in your rides. I feel that the mileage is about normal to high. But being new to the sport I have a limited point of reference, your review was very thorough and I appreciate that. Overall I enjoy your content on this and past videos Thanks again and I’m looking forward to more great content.👍🏻

How is 1600 miles on a machine alot in a year? i put 2500 on my rs1 in less than a year and i already have 600 miles on my 21 turbo s that i got 2 months ago. For the price of these units if they cant hold up without repair for 1600 miles thats a bit of an issue. All i did on the rs1 was oil and diff fluid changes and one set of pads. I also changed the belt at 2000 miles just to be safe never had an issue and the belt looked fine.

Been looking at 4 seater, and somehow overlooked this one. Be interesting to see a shootout between it and say the Talon4, and RZR4.

Great review, I always like that you pick at the little things because a door may seem simple, but for every time you drive it, you'll use that door twice. And your right, for a limo of a SxS, bigger tires would have seemed to make sense, better clearance, better ride too. Not to mention so many sub 28" tires make the SXS's look like the wheels came from a lawn mower lol. Put some manly tires on there please.
