I've got a high school kid who wants to get started detailing cars. I have a Prius. What supplies would you suggest for her?

@@claritycarwashing5747 - I can’t wait to see your new videos, seriously. I’ve watched all the “top” detailers on KZbin and you are the best. I’ve modeled my entire method & techniques after watching you - especially your interior details. They are also incredibly enjoyable & satisfying to watch. Outstanding.

Hey one more question, what dilution ratio do you use the purple power at when you spray the seats before you agitate them? (I’m assuming your using Purple Power for the seats & upholstery but if not please let me know). Do you use purple power as your APC for the doors & dash too or no? Thanks, your videos (especially the longer ones) are the best I’ve ever seen. 💪

Purple power is a little bit more concentrated with potassium hydroxide (more powerful than sodium hydroxide) so I would do between 5:1 to 10:1 leaning on 10:1 for most light stains and plastic on doors. Super clean will leave a nicer fragrance I’ve found but is less effective (broader range of uses). Currently tweaking my process but I would do a shampoo and agitation with purple power, then heated extraction with a dedicated upholstery shampoo concentrate, then finish with Meg’s shampoo and upholstery foam with a steamer.
