Yes, we did have a “robovav”. It was pretty good but due to our double coated Sheltie the dust canister filled very quickly. My (32 year old bachelor) son borrowed it in 2021 and I have never seen it since. There are newer models that sense when the canister is full and return to the base unit which has a built in bin. As the vac docks all the dirt get sucked into the bin and then it sets off again to finish its route. My husband thinks it is silly to name things so no names in this house but secretly I called it R2D2. It lived on the ground floor but periodically I took it upstairs purposely so it would do under the beds.

Hi - I really think you need to insist that a senior representative of the builder should meet you on site urgently to discuss your recent serious problems - the windows and the garage. There is no way that Ade should have had to do the work on the garage. You should tell the builder that you will be making contact with the NHBC. I speak from recent experience of a new build. Neighbours had serious problems and after doing what I have suggested to you they got very prompt attention. Work was done and they were compensated by having trees planted in their garden and a patio laid. You have been very patient but things won't get sorted unless you are very firm with the builder.

Use some stacking clear boxes to organise your fridge. Our fridge is about half the size of yours and I despair with it, this is the only way I can get it to stay organised. B&M have a good selection

I had a robot vacuum and called it Robbie. Unfortunately he was a cheap one and broke down after 10 months. However I loved my big American fridge freezer and I could not do without it.

I have a robovac but we've had so many problems with it. Think we must have got a dud one. I did love it when it worked though. Need to get hubby to try and work out what's going on or else see if we can send it back. Ours is called Dobby (the house elf). I always feel for you when I see you at the fridge. I'm sure the difficulty in keeping it organised is because it's too high for you. Never heard of a dirty 30 - going to give it try.

Hello 👋 Lisa We had the same problem with are fridge freezing veg and salad at the bottom, the way I overcame it was to put all my butter, cheese in that draw, then have a similar pull out draw/box on the next shelf up for veg and salad stuff, it works😊🎉

Hi Lisa- really enjoyedthis video- in bed with a cup of tea. I set my timer to 20mins- such a good idea. All my housework and tidying. I clean out my fridge every sunday evening- and make a soup out of odd bits of veg.. Your vlogs are very comforting- love your cooking and travelling adventures. Come to Cardiff again! ..thank you.

I love the idea of a dirty 30 cleaning. I need to do that. I feel so bad that Ade has to redo the builders work of sealing the stone by the garage. Why can’t people just do think right the first time? I think you’ll like the robot vacuum. My daughter has one and loves it.

In my new build I have an integrated fridge freezer..I have a 70/30 split so the fridge part is spacious. I put kitchen towel in the bottom of my salad/veg drawers and also in the door recesses to absorb any spills or to trap dirt. I have mentioned before that you really ought to get in touch with the manufacturer of yours - my neighbours had their appliance replaced under warranty because of a similar problem with things getting frozen in the fridge.

Garage issue is due to the ground level being higher than the base of the garage , only way you’ll stop it is to dig down below the foundation / floor of the garage and either fix a membrane to the wall or paint on a membrane then backfill , over kill would be to back fill with concrete which I would probably do and then pave along the edge of the garage

A dirty thirty!?! I think twenty is plenty 😂 Shame that robo-vacuum company don't do a robo-duster 😁 Really hope the garage issue is sorted as the rest of the house looks amazing. Have a great weekend.

Oh Lisa, it’s all so stressful! Have you thought about taking everything off that wall where the oven is, then putting your big American fridge there and a lower oven, like you’d prefer? I know it’s more money but I am short like you and the time you spend every day using these areas is a lot so it’s so important to have it fitted how you need it. X

@@LollipopBoxClub Yeah I can see why. It’ll be worth it though. My biggest regret in our kitchen is a built in 50/50 fridge freezer. The space inside is tiny, it’s so annoying! Really you should reimbursed for the fridge as it keeps freezing up x
