Dirty, Clean, or Sharp Saw Blade Sharpening is it worth it?

Great video! I just bought the exact same tool to expand my knife sharpening business. One thing I noticed on my blade and yours as I was watching the video is the diamond sharpening blade seems to have a lot of run out on it. When you were hand turning the sharpening blade to the saw blade (6.00 min) I could see your sharpening blade had a little side to side. I measured mine with a dial indicator, mounted on the motor shaft, brand new, never used and the runout was 0.020. In contact with VEVOR Customer Service, hopefully they will send me a new blade.

Yes I noticed that also. I wonder if after a few uses would that runout eventually grind itself away?

You should see the pine pitch we have in a log run we just came home with, super straight limbless pines but, they have destroyed probably over 4 blades now with only being able to do maybe 3 or 4 orders. Oh and destroyed band belts as well. I so badly want to burn the scrap in a barrel and make pine resin out of it, but we are already busy with so much. Finally almost done with our wood kiln, AJ showed me the Solar working today. AJ's birthday is right around the corner, I might need to get some of those blades and that sharpener for him. We use his Milwaukee Skilsaw when we have to split boards in half.

Nice video! Good reminder of how much of a difference a clean blade can make! That sharpern looks interesting... So, you going offer blade sharpening in the ATL area now?😁 One major complaint... not enough cat!! 🤣

Haha no just tubed with too many runs, flex hose and bendy tubes. I have since improved it quite a bit. It was working hilariously bad in this video.
