I learned this year not to try to use my HVAC system as an air purifier. I just downgraded my filters from MERV 11 to 6 so I am not taxing my central HVAC system. I bought air purifiers dedicated to that purpose and have it placed near my Central Air intake.

What about the iWave purifiers? Have you heard good or bad for 700 bucks? We were told we could use this to help minimize spores. Secondly, If people are getting sick by mold, then why isnt this more of an issue? The spores are blowing right over our bed when we sleep. Please respond if you want a thumbs up. TY

Furnaces 59TP6 or 59SP6 with single stage AC Is there any benefit during cooling with with dehumidification process in the summer when going with the Carrier Performance Two stage furnace 59TP6 (over the single stage 59SP6), when combined with the Carrier Performance single stage AC unit 24SPA6?
