Big smile here, when you said: "from the look of the leadsinger it's going to be rock". They actually ask people to sing "Fuck you" at concerts - I just went to their concert in Aarhus, Denmark a month ago. Henrik the bassist asked everyone to raise their hands in a fist, then put up their middle finger towards the band - "It shouldn't be to hard - just remember we're swedish"... 😂 They are really fun and no doubt they actually have fun making the videos (often in their credits are hilarious too). It's my favorite band since 2014 - they are all three of them world class musicians and arrangers. You are right though the video is not live - the video is edited by Aron the drummer by the way. Every Dirty Loops song is a new experience and surprise while at the same time leaving no doubt you're listening to Dirty Loops. First time I've seen your channel so don't know what you're into but they do mix all kinds of genres, so maybe you should give them another try? If you want an 80s rock tribute go for "Run away".

That´s funny 😅 Thank you for your comment. I will give them another try for sure. Maybe this was just not my song. But i totally forgot to mention that the bassist did a great job. Ok it was not live but from the comments i get, that they have to be good live too. And i also haven´t mentioned that they have a special constellation for me. Without a guitarist. Only Keyboard, Bass and Drums. Haven´t seen this before. Thanks for watching! 💚

Hi Bells, big Dirty Loops fan here! And whilst this tune here might come across as one of their ore superficial and poppy tunes (lord owns it probably took months, probably years to write and record) Dirty Loops are ANYTHING BUT superficial and poppy. This video was made after they’d recorded, so it’s not live. But still, 5hey are three longtime friends from Sweden, and one thing with their music, also live concerts: they like to have fun, whilst playing at a top level. Their mastery of all types of genres is legendary, coming partially from classical, but also having studied anything from rock to funk to jazz to music production. Other reactors and listeners needed time to get into their music and have often become total fans after a while. Every piece they write is different. I honestly think, to judge them properly one has to listen to more of their stuff. If you’re into vocals, “Next to You” might be a good next one, where Jonah layers all of the multiple vocal harmonies, including various choirs, -despite what it looks like on the video ;) “Breakdown” showcases his vocals in a different way. Do yourself a favour and listen to a few more of their songs. And it’s not just Jonah with his mad vocal skills and jazzy piano chops, but also Henrik, bass, being one of the best emerging bass players out there, as well as Aron on drums who co-writes a lot of their music, is a super musical and skilled drummer, -and also edits all of the videos. Enjoy the journey ☺️👍

Hi there! Thank you for watching and for your comment! I had a few comments in the same direction as yours and will definitely listen to them again. As i said in my video. I know nothing about them and could be wrong and of course there is music out there which grows in someone with time. So thank you i´m excited for the next listen. Give me just a little time. 💚

Better be honest than faking it. It's your reaction after all. You can't love everything. I personally love Dirty Loops and I would say that I think they truly are happy playing music. You see it in other videos and even when they play live. As for not liking this song, it's perfectly fine. I would however still recommend you to give a few other songs a chance, because Dirty Loops have songs of different styles. Now I don't know exactly what you would prefer, but maybe there's a song for you as well. They've done a few cover songs that are great, including "Thriller", which they did together with a guitarist called Cory Wong and they even have a horn section. If you want something a bit slower you can try "Breakdown". Anyway, I hope you give Dirty Loops a second chance and that you find atleast one song you really like. If not, then maybe they aren't for you and you can move on to the next band. It's fine.

Hey there! THANK YOU for you appreciating words! And yes i will add this songs on my list. Maybe it was just not the right song for me. I just need a little bit of time. Thanks for being here!

I have to agree with @Kotten84, it's not possible to love everything. Be truthful--that's what viewers are looking for, your reaction. I liked the "horns" in this, but it's not really enough to make me listen to it again. I'm not anti-pop, I grew up on The Monkees for heaven's sake. But that doesn't mean I like all pop. These days I listen to experimental, noise, and drone, so I'm not their intended audience.

Thank you for writing this. Makes me feeling more confident if you are fine with my truthful reaction. This is for me the same i want to see and i want to be by myself. I don´t want to make a show. Thanks for being here. 💚

Why do you comment if its not your kind of music? Might be better and more intressting if youwould hold on to music you like or at least have any interest in, and would like to trying to get in to.

@@mollyf3745 hey I really understand your thoughts. I‘m just thinking maybe it was not the right song for me. And to be honest if there were no requests I would not listen to it at the moment. But if someone asks I will give them for sure another try and maybe this time they catch me 😉 we‘ll see. If not no problem anyway.

It's good to explore new things - and sometimes you'll be surprised and find things you'd never think were something for you, but you actually like. I think it's great! Sometimes things grow on you so you might not like it much at the first listen but eventually it might become a favorite. Or when you listen five years later and have been exposed to other similar tracks you suddenly think it's awesome.
