Where has this band been all my life?! Not only is this tune one of the most danceable pieces in the history of music, but it has nice, subtle touches that musicians can sink their teeth into, like some unexpected and tantalizing deviations in chord progression and a few short but powerful rhythmic flourishes that make the overall beat just a little bit hard to follow in places without creating distracting confusion. You guys are a huge breath of fresh air!

If this had been recorded in the late 80's or 90's I'd agree with you but this type of mix is relatively easy with the availability of audio mixing software/hardware. You can automate the entire mixing process which 30ty yrs ago was done primarily by hand.
@randyporter34914 жыл бұрын
@@noahbodi6418 Yeah, that's a fair point for sure. Alike vocals now, a singer doesn't have to have meter, pitch or talent. Electronics will give them "talent". One prime example I've heard personally and is now a mega-star, is T. Swi*t ! But, she's hardly alone in that.

These guys are all so good, it just looks easy for them. I'm guessing some people will miss how technically advanced this song is and just put it in their "normal" pop tunes list. It deserves way more than that! As a bass player, I naturally follow Hendrik, but there's exceptional skills at work here, including mixing and engineering.

I can’t imagine anyone will miss how technically challenging this song is. It’s clearly full of crazy musicality, even to non musicians. But it sure is sick and is a brilliant example of how when you’re tight and not sloppy, you can get musically complicated but still have a super deep pocket and a nice groove that’s catchy and enjoyable to listen to. Technical and challenging doesn’t have to be crazy extended microtonal jazz chords in 17/8. It can be in 4/4 and be dancey as hell too.
@LordWumbology4 жыл бұрын
This is refreshing. Just pure talent... Every part of this is amazing. The bass is insane, the drummer is so tight, the vocals are like MJ and Stevie had a baby. The whole vibe is perfect. So much so that I felt the need to comment. Rare Beauty!

It’s not music I would normally sing to in my car you know? It’s like so good you just have to listen to it and enjoy it for what it is. The bass, the drums, the keys, these guys have so much chemistry together it’s magic. The song for me isn’t even about the lyrics. It’s purely sound. And damn, if it isn’t a good sound. The video is great too. They’re having so much fun. Their music has brought them together, and they understand each other better for it. They work so well and compliment each other in a way I haven’t heard before. Dirty Loops is here and they’re here to stay. A salute to them, and the art they’ve blessed us with.

I just discovered you guys. Not sure why I haven’t heard of you before. Thriller came up on my playlist. Each of you are top shelf musicians with such an incredible sound/beat. Plus camera/mixer/ sound ppl make your videos a lot of fun to watch.

All your bass solos make me laugh like you tell the best joke. Like when my son was born, like when spring comes after a long winter. My heart beats twice as fast, I can't explain it...
