I thought the scope was gonna be much worse . If memory serves me right , that doesn’t look a lot different than last time . That thing loves that long range match !

I have one cz457 that will shoot just about anything i put in it and one that shoots sk match and standard plus but the one with the modacam barrel just loves center x and that is alright with me because i think center x is just about as consistent as anything i have ever shot love that modacam hammer barrel like you said it is a hammer. Great shooting brother. Beagleman

I don’t have a rifle that doesn’t love center x ! How forgiving is the modacam with say sk rifle match or sk long range match . Lately Rifle match doesn’t shoot like older lots . Seems sk long range match is shooting like my old lots of rifle match . Not as good as center x but close . Beagle man , is your Modacam a Krieger too? I just ordered a muller from Modacam for my CZ

@@Jeff-mv4yy you are right on that I think the ammo producers are trying to force people to buy the highest end ammo. The other stuff don't shoot as good but modacam made my barrel to shoot strictly on my request to shoot only lapua center x and that's what it does. Beagleman

@@Jeff-mv4yy no it's a Muller barrel and I love it. It really shoots better than any rifle I ever had or ever seen I am really pleased with the barrel my brother got one also and it shoots lights out also. Beagleman

I won't say who that's for viewers to look up themselves but a very well known rimfire gunsmith/builder told me and has a few videos on him never cleaning his rimfire after 10's of thousands of rounds. He has done some videos showing how tight they still group. I know in one video it's well over 15k rounds fired. He only clean the bolt and channels but says he never touches the barrel in any way. I know and understand different views on this and everyone ultimately decides what they want to do, speaking only for myself since I stopped cleaning after 1500ish rounds groups have not changed at all.

@@RedNeck_Rimfire No he did not show any bore scope imaging. But honestly if it's grouping in the .2' s I don't care what the bore scope shows. Target performance is the goal and the real determining factor of what is working or not. I will say he had higher end rifles not budget junk, rifles well over the $ 3,4,5k range. Sniper's Hide has this debate awhile back, probably still going and there were others with same results. I think good results are achievable both ways but both ways do apply universally to every gun/brand/situation.

Darn good groups. What are you expecting to happen first? Groups open up or malfunction? Is there a max rounds you will shoot before cleaning?

I was always told scrub barrel and action before every match. Testing it to see when groups will open up or start having malfunctions

Yeah, and the dirtier it gets the better it shoots !
