Vudoo VS Cz

I chronyed a lot of different ELEY ammo's on my Garmin Xero and no matter the speed listed on the box, everything was around 1100 fps or so. I had boxes of ammo from 1040fps and up. SK and Lapua ammo seemed to be closer to the box advertised speed. Ammo's with speeds in the 1060 ranges seemed to shoot the best in my Vudoo rifle and my Lithgow.

I don’t know what Eley tests in but their speeds aren’t even close

The claimed velocity on the box is under laboratory conditions temperature humidity of surroundings and barrel too many variables to list

Not only weather effects speed but how good your barrel is and its length makes speeds different. What I watch for is consistency. SD's that are close help reduce vertical stringing. I really dont care about box vs actual speed as long as its accurate. My rifles seem to like 1068 box speed, 1115 real speed in Eley match. With 10X they like 1082 box, with 1135 real. I have 3 guns, all CZ, that will stack them with those numbers.

When you don’t season the barrel with the new ammo the first more than likely be a flyer.

I can't get my cz457s will not shoot eley ammo my modacam barrel shoots lights out man that guy knows his stuff when he builds you a barrel that barrel is killer you were right about it being a hammer. Good shooting brother Beagleman

Your bolt on the CZ is not holding lock up. It moves on every shot.

@RedNeck_Rimfire good job! It's funny, the more I watch from all the other "shooting" channels, I've found that not everybody can shoot good groups, nor do they understand that there is a big difference in ammo selection!
