I was born and raised in Atlantic City, last time I was there was 1991. Everything in this video is exactly how it was when I left, you even had clips of my old neighborhood in here. This is an awesome little time capsule. It was like going back home again to the time I left, just for a little while. Thank you for this.

Im from Oakland/San Francisco. I grew up in the Bay Area in the 1980s/1990s and still reside there till this day. I love seeing old footage like this. Reminds of my childhood. Reminds of my youth and not having responsibilities. Back when adults took care of me. Now I'm a working stiff like everyone in this video. One day I'll be old and 2020 will be 30 years ago.

Atlantic city's casinos are like gold bars in a dumpster. The dumpster being the rest of Atlantic city. You can look at a big bright casino..then look across the street..20 feet away..and see nothing but shit. it's crazy. but anyway, love the video!!

The best A.C. video to date. Love the cars and the music. Trump is not in Atlantic city whatsoever anylonger. Except the abandoned Plaza. Golden nugget and Hard Rock took over the Taj and the Marina.

@zippyman818 Oh, it was a Sony Video 8 Camera. Not even Hi 8. Today, with DV, I must say the quality was not as bad as we think today. And the recordings were played until now by the original tapes with a Hi 8 Camera to a DV Camera. After 20 years of age.

When I came to AC in 1993 and worked there until 1999 not much had really changed it look pretty much like this throughout the 90`s. Now this Atlantic City is gone for the most part, so much of it was cleared away.

Back when AC had a near 30 year monopoly on gaming along the East Coast. The Taj is still a big casino although it's been struggling with declining gambling revenue lately.

My favorite beginning of that video is the Atlantic City municipal bus terminal at arctic and Arkansas Avenues with the garage wich it used to be named the reading seashore terminal and everyone even me and my family went to the terminal back in the 90s before it was demolished 20+ years with all new jersey transit buses like the eagle model AE 20 commuter coaches and mci mc9 series like the mc9A and mc9B commuter coaches and mc9 crusader ii coaches and Grumman Flxible 870 ADB buses

I stayed in the Taj Mahal back in 2012 or 2013 it wasn't bad. It is messed up that he never paid some of the contractors for the work though. The Casino tailed and is now the Hard Rock Casino so karma I guess. It did make me chuckle though because the Hard Rock Cafe was the restaurant in The Taj Mahal before it failing
