There are some instruments that truly play well. There are some that can be made to play better. But you sir, have a divine touch. It is your knowledge and skill that make these bass guitars sound as amazing as they do

@Xpyburnt_ndz3 жыл бұрын
@@bassimprovjams3772 I bought it new off the wall in 1997 from Gelb Music in Palo Alto, CA...funny story behind it, the store owner gave me a great deal on it as a young man of 12 yrs old had been in the store a week prior and took a Les Paul down from the wall to try it out...after removing the Les Paul, the entire wall fell on him along with all the guitars and basses hanging on the wall! YIKES!!! Anyway, my Stingray had gotten a few dings "war paint" in the finish so the guy gave me several hundred off on the price! I played it for about 10 seconds and saw how velvety it played and paid him cash on the spot! Took it home and like Johnny in this vid, knew it was something very special! I've had several people ask me over the years to sell it to them but I won't. Just too hard to come by those "special" ones! It has a rosewood fret board and a deep aquamarine blue/green finish...just gorgeous and the nicks/chips are on the back of it! LOL

On my observations the Fenders without badass sounds more mellow and open.Badass gives thick tone which is nice for slow playing but for the sake of the transparent sound.... Chadakaka hobo depot johnnny...Greetings

Tone monster (I know you absolutely love them) over the factory or of all the pre-amps available. The only way I can see doing that would be if the Tone Monster's schematics were quite similar. Now Johnny I've been checking you out for a few and I fully respect as well as trust your judgement calls, I'm a Sire fan I have several of them (9) even when you didn't really dig on them I was still a follower. But this does seem to sound good? I'd be interested in hearing it through a real system? But I don't know about Tone Monster for that bass? I'm sorry but a "John East" or Mike Pope would have been my choice. I have a couple Frankenstein Sire's that I think would blow your mind, on not only the sound but the play action is amazing. I have a John East ( which I knew absolutely nothing about before this) on one and Michael Pope on my other one. John East is 9v &. Michael Pope is 18v.
