Thank you so much. Its been causing me problems for a while now. I have a silverado not my daily driver but it seems every 10 starts it locks up. Then for 2 days I kept trying to reset passlock and it wouldn't reset. I would have done it before but i'm a hp tuner noob.

@efrainrodriguez9995 I recommend messaging the HPTuner support. They should be able to help you verify that it is properly setup. Make sure the laptop has internet connection, the credits are applied to your account, and your account is synced.

This is not related to VATS issue. I had VATS problem resolved with HPTuners module and I think VATS is finally disabled for good. My question is about P0420 (Bank 1) is showing up after I ran a scan on my ECM. I have 2009 Hummer H3 Championship Series V8. I believe that my mechanic installed an aftermarket catalytic converter and not an OEM which seems to be incompatible with my H3. I had an issue with this for years and I am trying to get it resolved. Can you or anyone reading recommend a new catalytic converter that would clear this check engine error? I am not sure that they make OEM catalytic converters for Hummers anymore. Thank you very much for your help in advance!

Hello Ermin, I recommend welding in a universal catalytic converter from Walker. They have "CalCat" versions made to exceed the strict emission standards in California (CARB). I haven't put one on my H3 yet but have one on my Astro and it works great!

I believe the H3 requires only 2 credits. Check on their website and it will show your specific year and model. Let me know how it goes!

@efrainrodriguez9995 I appreciate your questions! I would personhood get the MPVI2 if it is cheaper. It works well and it is the one I have and use. The MPVI3 has faster speeds and some other features, but nothing more that is super helpful for our H3's.

@@efrainrodriguez9995 Great to hear you've got HPTuners. Be sure to have wifi connection while using the program, and that you have purchased and used your credits for your specific H3 VIN. Start with "reading" the tune on your H3. Then, follow my video instructions to "disable VATS." Then "write" the updated tune file to your H3. Follow the prompts in HPTuners program, and then you should be set! Let me know how it goes.

Hey Kyle 🤓 no issues for me yet, including not having to wait the 10 minutes to start the vehicle. It feels luxurious not having to worry about the passlock anymore! Now I wish there was a easy way to disable the TPMS lol

Hello Spencer, it sure can change shift points in the transmission. 🤓 I have adjusted mine to allow for smoother shifting and less "jumping" around during rapid acceleration.

@@H3Humper I purchased the Diablo mostly to change my tire size. You can adjust shift points, fan settings and more than I dare mess with. Pretty user friendly but I haven't come across any VATS settings : ( Digging around in Hptuners, have you seen anything on TPMS settings? I'd love to see that light go away without putting sensors back in place.

I haven't seen anything related to TPMS, unfortunately... I am determined to find a remedy for it, though! I'd love to see mine go away without sensors, too.

Hello Murasakino, credits do indeed need to be purchased initially in order to make changes (the credits last forever for the VIN). It costs $100 to register for a single H3.

Good Is Evening humme Forgot to tell you.I had to get a new PCM for the H3 hummer I tried to relearn the the passlock but no luck 5 times Do you think it's a good idea just to use the HP tuner and the same way?

I believe you will need to purchase more HPTuner credits to use on the new PCM if the VIN is different. I do believe disabling VATS would be an easy solution to the failed passlock relearn procedures.
