Quick question can u tune just about any old gm-2002🚘?!’
@projectskylinegtr Жыл бұрын
you guys should do one about the hp tuners neural network because I'm still not exactly sure what it is and heard very little regarding it!

Adjustment of that is not required for the mild modifications the majority of people are doing and what is shown in the Gen V worked example mentioned. Because of that, you probably haven't heard much about it because most people don't need to touch it. If you are seriously altering the engine airflow and it is something used in your application then it is something you or your tuner would need to know about and understand. Sadly many tuners simply turn it off because they don't know what to do which is far from optimal. Depending on the demand for what people are working with project wise we will look at covering this in more depth in the future however 😎 - Taz.

Still trying to understand what's better than my current MPVI2+
@hpa1012 ай бұрын
You might not have a need to upgrade since you already have the MVPI2+, but there are some differences. This is from the video and video description - Taz. "It doesn't seem like all that long ago we got the MVPI 2 update, but version 3 from HP Tuners does bring with it some great changes, in particular the inclusion of the Pro Feature set which the HP Tuners community have been stoked to hear. The genuine improvements also include doubling the capacity of the logging memory from 4GB to 8GB as well as bumping up the logging rate (specific speed not stated) speed. Note the data logging rate is different to the speed at which you can read/write to your ECU, and that speed is limited by the vehicle you are tuning, not the interface, HP Tuners or otherwise. A high-resolution (the specific resolution not stated) accelerometer has been added, and HP Tuners state Ford EEC-V support is also now available in some marketing material but also state it is not supported on their supported vehicles list, so get in touch directly with them to confirm if applicable to you. "

So let's talk about the credits ? Can you explain to us what it's all about? Does the user have to get credits each flash of an ECU or each car ? I have an 2006 Audi A4 b7 1.8t 20v quattro that needs tuning for the setup it has at the moment but later looking to change it again, so the question is.... Is hp worth it with the credits and the cost of the interface or should I just buy a ECU masters emu black
@jc3595713 күн бұрын
@ag-workshop the credit attaches to your device and vehicle it can not be transferred in any way once you have the credit you can make an unlimited amount of changes to that vehicle with your device

Can one input (2) O2 sensors with MPVI3, say for a V engine?
@hpa101 Жыл бұрын
Yes, via the PROLINK cable as it was for MVPI 2 as well - Taz.

Hi, I want to delete the immobilizer in a 02 Mustang 3.8L. what do I need to buy? The interface, the usb wire to connect to the laptop and 2 credits? Thanks in advance for your response.
@hpa1018 ай бұрын
That sounds about right although the MVPI3 should come with the USB-C cable (cheapest bit though so doesn't really matter). Double check with HP Tuners directly before purchasing to be safe as they know their products better than anyone else 😎 Your local tuner might also be happy to do this for you for a lower cost than you having to buy your own unit etc as well so I would look into that before pulling the trigger if I was in your shoes and the immo delete was literally the only thing I wanted to do - Taz.

I have been using SCT and their latest software update rendered my X4 useless. It won’t communicate any longer with the ECU. It is also a pain to tune with SCT, meaning their process is more involved. I can’t wait to switch to HP. Unfortunately my car isn’t supported by the MPVI3 and they stopped making the MPVI2. SCT’s tech support is NOT reasonable at all!

I'm a reseller and I found a one of these at a thrift store for 30 bucks, HP MPVI. How do I test it to see if there are credits on it? Is it still valuable without credits?
@hpa101 Жыл бұрын
You need to buy your own credits, the interface is just a tool. Get in touch with HP Tuners directly for support with it, they will sort you out - Taz.
