Furthermore, I do just want to quickly clarify that we have not specifically mentioned any/which particular systems that will be missing at launch, but this is something that will specifically be talked about internally, so we can clarify this for you. We appreciate everyone's comments, even if they were not what we wanted to hear, as ultimately this is what will allow us to improve going forward. What a pity... In my opinion and talking about big names, PMDG and Aerosoft are clearly the big losers of the MSFS 2020 generation. Their reputation is greatly affected by their outdated way of working and the lack of innovation or attention to detail compared to other developers like JustFlight, who have managed to release two wonderful aircraft for this simulator.

5 wonderful aircraft. Also a 757 in collaboration with bluebird in the pipeline. the BAE 146, F28, Hawk T1/A, PA28 Warrior and PA28 Arrow. I agree 'big name' devs have really dropped the ball with msfs, unlike JF, A2A and Inibuilds to name a few with great aircraft, It's like they expected msfs to flop or not be taken seriously so released these scuffed unfinished products.

At least PMDG have provided 4 different models to try out. As for the customer service being rude, it’s often because the customer is rude to begin with.

Having worked in customer service, I find PMDG's behavior unprofessional. Additionally, it's worth noting that PMDG has yet to develop a functional iPad app, whereas other developers like Aerosoft have already showcased a great EFB with their A330. Fenix, too, has proven their worth, and their v2 product shows promise. Valid criticism of PMDG is justified, as there are many talented developers in the industry. The perception of PMDG being infallible only fuels their arrogance.

If they're making an Airbus that can't support something as basic as a hold, flying an arc or non-precision appr's then thats pretty concerning for me. If that is the case I think it'll be a swing and a miss from me, especially knowing Aerosoft will probably charge something in the region of 50-70 Euros for it, not worth it if it can't do the basics of a modern airliner. Hopefully this isn't the case, but what they said is concerning.

Hopefully the support from Aerosoft is better than I have experienced using P3D. Currently have an issue with dome light setting in the A318-321 professional series. Queried it via the Aerosoft forum and the reaction I got was that it was tested for P3Dv5.2 and thus not supported. I experienced the issue with 5.3HF2 and now 5.4 My biggest grudge is that Aerosoft dropped P3D (previously their bread & butter) like a stone. The lack of loyalty to both LM and customers still amazes me!

It could be that the planes you mentioned had bigger teams with more experience working on them and we've just been unlucky in that PMDG is the only experienced team working on a long haul airplane? Or it could be that the long haul planes are more complex and harder to fully replicate. Either way it sucks we don't have anything yet.

I am getting a little impatiënt. I have 2 short haul airplanes which are to my standards. All the 737's from PMDG and the A320 of Fenix. But still no acceptable long haul aircraft. Wating for this Aerosoft A330 and the PMDG 777/747. However, what can one do then wait?

Well my best advice is to wait and speculate, even if the aerosoft does releases it. Cuz on one hand, headwind and pmp are collaborating on an freeware a330ceo with accurate enough model with efb orginated from the fly by wire team, which works flawlessly on the headwind a330neo and fly by wire a320neo. On the otherhand, premature purchase on unfinished in msfs2020 never works. My best guess and point is :the time when pmp releases an authetic enough a330 will be similar to that when aerosoft finally releases a finished version of a330ceo. So i guess everyone can make a decision by that time. Though i might be too optimistic on the pmp a330😂.

My dad a detective had a favourite expression, it was there is "no smoke without fire". My senses detect a smoke screen (the new webpages) that aerosoft has unfurled to hide the flames. I hope I am wrong but the comments fill me with disappointment about what functionality the released product will actually have as well as the time it will take to even reach the release date.

So I never bought an Aerosoft plane, but I'm following their A330 closely. That doesn't necessarily mean that I will be buying it, but I'm definitely considering it. It depends on how the product will be when it releases. I doesn't have to come with PMDG-level fault handling, but it should be an A330 that works like an A330 for 99% of the time. Personally, I am not very much disappointed so far. The website is well done, and they are ironing out some bugs before release. That's a good thing. The biggest danger is that they stop the development and maintenance of the plane once it's out and the first few hotfixes have been applied. They state that they want to care for it for some years, I hope they stick to this.

And at Fenix you have an absolutely stunning EFB, which a large Team like PMDG cannot create for more than one year now?! But the small team at Fenix can?

Aerosoft is a publisher, not a developer. Like Boeing once was: an engineering company and not hell bound on money like they are now. They also hire good developers, but pay them marginally. I’ve dealt with them a few times and they have some sneaky tactics in place.

Many of us are awaiting a great a330, a350, and others. But, if they dont release the “right” plane, then I wont be interested. We have come to expect, and rightfully so based on what the cost may be, a close to “study level” as possible. PMDG and Fenix have set the bar. If Im going to spend $60-80 for a plane, it better operate the way it is supposed to.

Aerosoft are reminding me of the whole Quality Wings mega wait for the 787, for P3d. I’m not sure that their A330ceo will be as good or any different to the freeware A330’s, or at least will I want to spend probably €60 (guessing the price) or more on something that’s not much better! it will be interesting to watch what you tubers say about it, that’ll be my deciding factor on whether to buy it or not, it’s a shame Aerosoft weren’t a little quicker getting to grips with, I think they’ve missed the boat as we say in the uk, (took far to long, and others have raced ahead of them), maybe they should of produced an A319 or A321, those we need decent versions of in the sim, I’m somewhat disappointed in Aerosoft as a regular customer, a real shame. Dear Emanual, I've been following your channal since its release. Currently, I'm doing aptitude test for enter CAE to get my ATPL.. and I have tried serveral times to get throu the personality questionares but it looks like I always fail them.. either it's with the aptitude or the personality questionare included in the EASA class 1 psychology exam.. The results i've got was fake positive and another result which I don't remember. Now i got rejected by Easyjet's cadet program and the EASA class 1 that i tried to get back in november 2022 and now the time is due to try again to obtain the medical class 1 and looking out to get recruited by other airline's cadet programs.. I wonder can you maybe give some advice on how not to fail those psychology test.. and how not to recieve a "fake positive"? personally I know i'm not perfect but the personal isssues i have should not be problem for society nor the saftey of future flights. althou so I believe.. I want to try to give some examples but the comment is already way to long.. so please, do you mind to tell me and maybe other viewers that have the same problem how to go on this? Hi, I'm sorry to hear you got some problems getting the medical. My best advise is just to answer everything honestly. There's no sense in lying in those tests, you may get your initial medical but latest in the airline interviews psychologists will notice and that you've lied and kick you out. You could however try and obtain your medical in a different country. They all apply different standards so just because you don't get the medical in one cou try doesn't mean you can't get it in another. Germans frequently go to the Netherlands if they fail tue color vision tests here because we know the Netherlands are less strict on color vision.

It’s that I strongly agree with society’s standards, work greatly underpressure, like to challange my self and all the other thing an airline might look in a new recruited pilot that I’m told that I’m lying. What is the difference from a simmers point of view between flying the A320 v A330. I thought the cockpits were more or less identical ? I have the Fenix A320 and the FBW A320 but use the FBW most of the time because it interfaces better with my peripherals. I'm not sure why I would want the A330.

Well it's a whole different airplane. Of course it's designed for easy transition for the pilots but the internals of the A330 are quite different from the A320. You could as well ask why someone should get a 777 if they have a 787 or the other way round. The difference is similar.

Most aircraft start without fuel pumps. They're either gravity or suction fed. AC fuel pumps are normally just there to prevent cavitation of the HP pumps and to support engines.

I heared some rumors that they took some of the FSS people on board for the A330 now. I really hope that's not the case and those guys get their E-Jet sorted before doing anything else.

I get the feeling that MSFS will remail mostly a GA aircraft and missions Sim for entertainment. Fenix needing an external App over simconnect does say it all. i Will return to xplane maybe. lets hope the A380 will come soon

Too bad. And I can't believe the negative comments about pmdg . And im sure most of that has to do with their lack of an efb.. theyre still the best in the business! The only competitive item is the fenix and I believe pmdg wins over them easily .

@@d_ylan asobo has made devs only develop for FS20 and nothing else making them sign contracts. When it was just xplane and P3D devs made stuff for both but now devs are now going exclusive to fs20
