Im happy to have found this channel, not many people still messing with these things nowadays, i learned to drive in a 5 speed escort lol. Anyway, i have a g series in my mazda now and im about to wrap up a 6 speed G series build for it, the 6 speed version was built for just a few years around 2009 and used in a few mazda and ford vehicles. I have one from a 2nd gen mazda3 and the one I've used for this build came from a mercury milan. You basically swap the entire geartrain into whatever case you want to use, replace the 5th gear cover with the 5th/6th gear cover and do a few simple modifications to make everything work. I might make a video of my own showing the how-tos when i do the second trans.
