AWESOME VIDEO!!! Thank you so much!! I really like this type of video showing the process! I like the length of the video too, I'd rather watch this than some tv show. Very informative!!

Excellent video. I appreciate all the detail work shown on installing the diverter, tub, and shower connections. Can't wait to see you install shower controls in the other bathroom. I really learned a lot here.

Ken, I like the longer more detailed videos. Who knew about the restrictive peck line, good thing you caught it when you did.

Hi, Mark. Hope you are well. Happy New Year. I will probably carry on making videos as I have been. Some longer ones, some shorter ones. I kind of like making the longer ones better myself. Yes, I am really lucky to have discovered that problem. It would have been a BIG job to fix after all of the tile was installed.

Thank you so much for the videos! I've learned a lot watching your channel. I wondered how those shower diverters worked. The house I grew up in had three knobs that operated the bathtub spigot and showerhead, but my current house has the style that you installed here. Thanks again!

Thanks so much for these great videos !!! Definitely appreciate you sharing your journey and all the details showing what issues you're running into and how you're solving them. I'm looking forward to how you're going to work with the flooring over the particleboard floors. I'm working on my trailer now and don't want to remove/replace all the subfloors, but have to figure a way to deal with slightly sloping floors/dips in places while not being able to use any of the self levelers. Looking forward to seeing your finished place.

I really appreciate the way you work. It's similar to the way I do things. But, for the life of me, I can't figure out why you didn't leave the valve body installed and just replace the tub spout line with copper. Why did you remove the whole thing? Can't wait for part 3.

question..... my home is 1970ish and has no insulation between rooms. What rooms should have it and shouldnt you recommend?
@BCRenovationMagazine Жыл бұрын
Hi, Cody. The exterior walls all need insulation. Insulation in walls between rooms is not necessary but can be installed for sound deadening purpose.

Im suprised you didnt install an ice maker box lol
@BCRenovationMagazine2 жыл бұрын
Hi, Nick. All of the appliances for this project have been bought and are in storage. The ice maker is in the fridge. It will get hooked up to that line I ran over from the kitchen sink rough in.

@@BCRenovationMagazine sorry i shoukd have specified...i meant the box that is recessed in the wall that you would hook you fridge supply line up to...also, i was wondering if i could share some photos of my personal home i am renovating?

@@nicksinclair2407 , Oh, OK, I see what you mean. No, I don't use those on these jobs. Got to draw the line somewhere. 🙂

Hello I think what he meant by ice maker box is the little white box the goes in the wall behind the fridge similar to the one of a washing machine but with only cold water line.
