Enjoyed this as well. Genius wiper fix! I never drove on the GP circuit but I did the Nordschleife three times and absolutely enjoyed it. You get negative and positive camber together plus under steering and oversteer but all good fun.

I had a similar thing happen when i was about your age on the M20 in kent, on the outside lane pouring down with rain and i was going past a big lorry. And my drivers side wiper stopped, but the left one was still going. This was in a 1985 Saab 900 Turbo. The left wiper is mechanical and the right one is cable driven, and the cable snapped. Right at the worst moment overtaking a lorry in the rain. To say i sh^t my pants would be an understatement.

Epic road trip! Thanks for sharing your experience. I was very impressed with your temporary wiper fix. Would be good to see some perspectives on the experience from Jacob as passenger, though it seems he may be a little camera shy! The one wiper on your panda reminds me of the one wiper in the mk1 fiat panda that we had a B reg white Fiat panda which unfortunately got written off in 1994

Epic to be able to go round that world-famous track. Nice one.Is the driver’s wiper blade longer? If so you could’ve fix it to the arm that’s working to get more coverage? Or simply try and buy a longer blade? Just a thought
