Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture.
With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

Hi Zach. I'm a truck driver from Holland and I thought I noticed the same blue insert in your def tank as we have in Europe. Those things contain a magnet that have failed me personally twice in the last ten years (so not that often) but when they do the def, or adblue as we call it, won't keep flowing. So if the problem occurs with the same vehicle, that could be your problem. Our dealer seems to have them in stock. Oh and from one trucker to another: Allen you should have caught that one before it happened, especially on that side...

6:05 I remember loading a brand new aluminum flatbed with just about 50k of communication tower steel for shipment to AL. (The guy brought a daycab so we could load a little heavier) He made it all the way to AL and as he was turning onto the lane that led to the tower site, he hadn't widened his turn enough. His brand new aluminum flatbed, on its maiden voyage, twisted and was ultimately written off as a total loss.

Zach you and your dad did a great job of getting it back on the road. Great going guys. Experience counts when dealing with these issues. You dad seems to get around good with his knee. Love you dad and his calm approach to issues. Wonderful farmer with a wonderful attitude. Thanks Dad!!!!!! Jason with honey bee is a outstanding employee of that company. He did a lot of work and stayed right with you during the demo of the honey bee. Looks to be a real nice head. Thanks Jason for your efforts to the family and Zach and dad. Trust your truck and trailer are ok and nothing broken. Really appreciate you filming all of the harvest action knowing that takes extra time for you at a busy time. Really enjoy the harvest videos. Def nozzle does it frequently when filling combines, the filter JD puts on the def tank is pretty small and the nozzle fills that filter up more than the filter and flow. Can check the def filter on the combine with I think 4 or 5 bolts on the def tank see if there’s anything in it.

Hey Zak. I found your channel by accident and been watching ever since. You explain to the experience and the non farmers in an easy to understand way. You have given me the drive to maintenance my own machines of John Deere. Given me a better understanding and appreciation of farmers in my area. If I see a tractor and a cart on the road heading to the grow op, I wait until the farmer gives me the opportunity to pass instead of raging and racing past him. I am in the market for my own 1025R to help out my aging father and fellow neighbours during the winter time. From this non farmer, thanks to you, your dad, Jim and everyone else on your videos. You bring a better understanding and fascination to what farmers do for the rest of the world. Stay well during this pandemic and look forward to the next batch of content.

Farmer government subsidies are huge. Going to end bad in the long run. Ever wonder why almost everything has corn and soy in it?

Very nice! Great videos! I know Mike Mitchell on KZbin is always going on about how that “pan” as you called it. Is great at catching rocks first and “rarely” make it onto the belt.

I grew up on a small hill farm in Wales. Predominantly sheep, but also with some beef. Consequently, I don't know a whole lot about arable farming, although in the days of horses and traction engines, our farm also grew crops and the old seed drill and threshing machine were still around to stand testament to that. I've learnt a lot from Millennial Farmer and I thank him for that.

I absolutely love Becky’s safety message. I am considering updating my channel platform from farm advocacy to farm advocacy including farm safety advocacy.

I must say, I bet as a farmer, one of the sweet and initially unforseen benefits of adding so much extra work to your day as a "farmtuber" is the fact that you get so many equiptment companies doating over you with free extended demos, food drops, and hell even helping out with your farm operation like Jason ( i think that was his name ) the Honeybee rep did, driving your grain cart, running other members of your farm here or there and just generally pitching in when youre busy. Iam sure that part is rare, but its still no doubt being a farmtuber gets you ALOT more attention from brands and reps than just being a regular ole-farmer. I know their job is to come out to farms and get you to try stuff and sell you on it, but it generally seems like farmtubers get ALOT more equiptment and more no-strings attached demo hours for the exposure to your audience. I say good for you guys... all the farms I watch are relatively small family operations with a max of maybe a couple seasonal adhoc employees. IDK when I see this I feel good for you guys. Ya'll work hard and deserve to get some perks. EDIT: Also after finishing this video... Jason is a pretty awesome rep. Honeybee better take care of him... you dont see many guys like that, he really goes far and wide in the scope of his job.

Looks as if the Honeybee did a great job. What impressed me was the short stubble and definitely the rock trap on the header. Tell Becky to use a bigger hammer next time. Take care.

Two things. #1-Becky. That. Was. Hilariously. Fantastic. You need to do more stuff like that. #2-The John Deere header with air is really good, but that HoneyBee really seemed to eat the beans like it was starving! That was impressive.
