I SHOULD HAVE QUITE WHILE I WAS AHEAD!! Disaster for the 2140, but all is not lost, this will be the start of an engine rebuild, I will show as much as I can of the future rebuild, hope you enjoyed my misfortune! :(

What is the front steering like as I would really like to see a video done on over hauling the front axle as my little 2130 needs sorted.

It's abit sloppy as you'd expect from a tractor this age, I will be doing the front axle at some point but the engine is the main focus at the moment! 😊

Suppose that answered the question of will it start 🙈 good luck with the tear down of the other engine🤞does that block and fly wheel fit straight in without any modifications?

It did indeed! No second guesses and to what the problem was! I'm fairly sure they'll all fit in the same, I think it's just a few changes to the internals of the block itself, I've looked at part numbers for the crankshaft and head gaskets and such and they're the same, but the proof will be in the pudding as they say! May even find a 2850 injector pump for more ponies 😏😏😏😏😏

@spudhauler My cousin has done a similar thing with a 4wd sg2 cab 2140 putting a 2650 engine in (I belive) and I think the only difference was the turbo drain pipe and rocker cover, but we will find out soon enough! 😊
