As a Newcastle fan, I'd take the points deduction every time. That's right, time and time again. Expose the absurdity of the Top 6 cartel for what it is.

@@Stevieb333 You could be right, but the bigger issue is the long-term health of the Premier League competition. The idea that new owners, or promoted teams from the Championship cannot invest to thrive whilst the cartel built their asset base before these rules came in, and can spend to their heart's content, is simply crazy.

Newcastle's PSR "emergency" is a complete myth. Commercial revenues have increased by over 50%. Champions League, Sela, Adidas money is something we didn't have last season. Bruno and Isak are going nowhere. We can get at least £50m combined for any or all of Wilson, Longstaff, Almiron, Trippier, Targett, Minteh. It's all just a media sh*tstorm.

all this extra income from adidas and champiions league will not be counted until 1st july which is the new accounts year so will not help towards this seasons psr by 30th june

The projected amount we are supposed to be over is £25m so why would we sell our 2nd biggest assest to make that up when we can sell someone like minteh, miggy, trippier or wilson etc instead. It makes no sense, nor does taking a point deduction again for a small amount like £25m. Might i reiterate these are PROJECTIONS, which have been challenged, and may i just remind you that we recently bidded £60m for Olise so i have my doubts in all honesty.
