Hi, It would be best if you could get the brake rotors inspected. The new brake pads will be useless if you have installed them on warped rotors.

As explained in the video, the disc brake can be skimmed two or three times. There is always some extra material from factory and it won't increase the gap between the pad and the rotor.

It can be skimmed upto three times, but recommended is two for safety reasons.
