I wonder if the distance difference has to do with rim width. Truth is 15mm, trust is 13mm (and maybe should be labeled as speed 4)

Really enjoy and appreciate these comparisons you do. Haven't really disagreed too much about any so far. What comes to forehanding these two, I actually quite prefer the Truth because Trust is a bit deeper which makes it harder to get a clean release (for me). Also feel like the Royal plastic is a bit slicker that Lucid, but I do like how the Trust flies.

I have a beginner or slower arm speed where I get a neutral eight speed about 200ft. I had the Emac truth and the worship listed at 5601 and then reclassified to 5501; for me it flew a little farther than the emac truth and was a little less stable. So I would say for slower arm speeds if you want a little more flight and a little less stability I would go with the worship over the truth and the trust.

Sorry just noticed that, truth for forehands, and the trust for backhands. Lucid plastic flys the best for me and like the polished royal plastic really well!

Gotcha! Your the second person that has shared Truth for forehand and Trust for backhand! I’m not great with the midrange forehand game. I forehand fairway drivers and then Harps! Great input thanks, can share with others!

I have an Emac Truth that is nice and flat, ordered another one and it was pretty domey and just didn't jive with it. I might have to check out a trust tho, cause flat Emacs seem to be hard to come by. I've had some of my best shots with the Emac, super straight and long

The Trust definitely feels like a better forehand disc. The prime EMac Truths are flat and stable. I also came across a hybrid EMac and it is flat as well. The trajectory of the EMac Truth and Trust are very similar. Trusts feel great. Waiting to see if they go up in production…

So as someone that bags an Emac and a Gatekeeper, did the Trust make your bag? It almost looks like the Trust could cover both those molds. It seems to have that low speed stability for shorter approaches like the Gatekeeper but can be powered up like the Emac.

Thanks for the question! I was bagging both EMac Truth and Gatekeeper as well, and currently Gatekeeper has that spot. The Trust has not made the bag, but definitely has potential! I am not sure if it is superstition or stubbornness that is keeping from adding the new molds this season. At the moment my confidence is in the Gatekeeper.

@@BeaverBranch I don’t think it is either stubbornness or superstition. The Gatekeeper really is that good! If the Trust is a tick more stable than the Emac then, for me I think the Emac would go. That in my mind would give a pretty good spread between my Fuses and Gatekeeper. I guess we’ll see. I ordered one today, largely in part to the curiosity that your review sparked. Nice! I have the Fuse available in both those plastics as well. Opto is my go to though. Have you tried this year’s tour series Fuses? I feel like they are a good addition to any Fuse thrower’s bag. The version 1 Opto-X is softer and more flexible than previous runs. It has just a touch of turn when thrown flat on a clam day. Making it dead straight in tailwinds. The Gold-X is money. On a calm day it will take a fair amount of power and flies straight with a touch of fade. In a headwind it holds straight and has been solid competition with my Gatekeepers for that shot. Just my 2 cents for what it’s worth. I’m excited to see what all the fuss around the Royal line is about. Thanks again.

I have not thrown this years tour series Fuses. I do have the Opto X Moonshine Fise from last year and agree it has more stability! I can get it to straight, but definitely not as easy to turn! I’ve got my eyes on those new tour series, maybe in the next month or so.

I ordered the eMac truth because it was in an offering at a low price, today I should see and touch it, I'm a little scared by the bead (I don't like it very much) but we'll see 🙂

The bead is not noticeable. (Like on a putter it would be more noticeable). On the EMac Truth it’s nice and smooth and helps keep the stability of the disc. Don’t be scared! It’s a great choice for a midrange!

It’s a micro-bead - a lot of people consider it somewhat beadless due to how small and built into the disc it is. Don’t fret. The EMAC truth (even new) is one of my straightest flying and easy to anny discs I have. If the microbead worries you, invest in a Lat64 compass - better than a buzz, stable (almost as much as a truth), and beadless.
