Great vid. I use a Tournament Harp as one of my approach/short drive discs. Both on forehand and backhand. I like it because it is overstable but not a meathook. When I want a straighter BH upshot, I use a VIP Maiden, when I want a beefier FH upshot, I use the NSH Mr. Putt.

Great video as always! I got a VIP (flat top) and an Origio. The Origio is somewhat beat in and flies a little further but a bit less stable. I found the Jade Opto Air to be surprisingly stable. Almost as stable as I regular Jade but far from as unstable as my beat up opto diamond. I hope it'll hold up somewhat well and never be as unstable as a diamond. I mainly try to use it at uphill shots since it's lighter.

There are definitely a few air discs that are stable I’m comparison to other molds. The Lucid Air Maverick is one of them. Sounds like Air Jade too!

You’re welcome! Using the Harp and putter in fieldwork will show you the differences you can get for your approaches. I use the Harp specifically when I want to slow down and stop! It has less glide than putters and it’s more stable (so you have to account for that). I throw the Harp a lot where I want to throw harder and know the disc will slow down and get to the ground. I specifically use BT Soft Harps for the grip, but have thrown and have used the Ricky Harps (especially for glow golf).

I had a vip harp that was similar to yours in dome. I didn't like how it made the disc feel deeper. I was using an origio that had just a bit of puddle, much more comfortable forehand and backhand.

I got a couple VIPs, did some fieldwork, and stuck to the BT Softs. I do like the Ricky VIP runs of Harps that are out now. Flat/slight puddle. Origio is a solid way to go as well! I do have a couple origios that circulate in to the bag.

It's interesting to see the the Ricky Harp is the most overstable by that much. I have one with a nice dye job that's kinda puddled and it's much straighter. It's more like a Berg than a Harp, honestly.
