Joel, Tristan with Eagles Wings here. I have a question for the AMA. With some players starting up foundations in their namesake that are tailored toward different things disc golf related (Paul's bringing disc golf to under-served countries and Ricky's bringing disc golf into more schools), if you could start the Hole-Hearted Foundation, what would you like to see your foundation do to further disc golf?

Hi Joel. Loved the video. I just started playing this year and my wife is starting to get into it not as seriously but I enjoy playing together. So I really enjoyed watching you and your wife play together 👍AMA: how dob you know when you can move up say from 7speed to 9 speed to 12 speed? And does a 151g Diamond fly the same and same distance as 171g ? If not how do you know when to move up in disc weight as well? Thanks

Hi Joel. AMA Q: When you have a bad round or are just frustrated coming off the course for any reason, what do you do to "reset?" Do you have a favorite worship song you listen to, play, or sing? Or do you have another thing you do to shake it off to prepare yourself for the next round or event?

Dang there are a whole lot of comments and a whole lot of good questions. But here’s an off the wall question for you: during a tournament, have you ever eaten something before hand or drank too much coffee and found yourself fighting the urge to poop your pants the whole time while playing??? Would they let you use the restroom? Are you guys on a strict time constraint??

How much does your bag change year to year as far as the molds you throw?
@tunnelshotdiscgolf Жыл бұрын
In your 2022 in-the-bag video, you had mentioned that you don't bag any fairway drivers (7-8 speed) and that it has been working well for you. Is part of that decision based on you finding more success on some wooded course shots using your putters or midranges that have less lateral movement and/or less/later fade than most fairway drivers might exhibit on the same shots?

As a disc golfer would it be more beneficial to have fingers the length of your arms and arms the length of your fingers, or feet the length of your legs and legs the length of your feet? Tough choice for me, but I think I could generate enough power in my arms to get by with foot long legs! Curious your thoughts on grip with monster fingers!

Thanks, Joel - Fun vid! I like the challenge of following up on someone else's drive. As a relative beginner, I'm struggling with distance. I can basically throw deignated putters as far as distance drivers. My question is: how does one handle different kinds of discs - putters, mids, failrways, and drivers - to maximize their unique aerodynamics and design characteristics?

Hi Joel, I've only been playing for a little more than a year, so it's kind of a newbie question. Do you feel that you have a more consistent shot if you throw from a specific angle? For example, I seem to throw better from a slight Anhyzer angle. The disc seems to go in the right direction more often than if I were to throw flat or on a hyzer, I have more control with that angle. What do ya think?

Great idea, Joel! Playing this format of doubles encourages setting goals for players of all levels and likely prevents a player with less distance from always being first to throw from the fairway. My question involves the off-season and dancing. I know from watching other videos on your channel that you have a background in dance. How important is it to have a rhythmic outlet like dance to keep your balance, weight transfer, timing and footwork agility in use during the off-season? Much love to you and your family.
