It has taken a couple of months but the modifications I wanted to make to my Disc Grinder are complete. Making it quieter, arresting most of the sparks, and adding a forward and reverse switch has made my disc grinder one of the tools in my shop that will be seeing a lot more use than it has seen in the past.

Really nice changes. I was considering adding sand into the base of my bench top english wheel for stability. I dont see your disc grinder needing it, but sand in the legs should dampen more vibration and keep it from walking any.

Hi Jere, Nice unit. It reminds me of your many mods to the bead roller, which made it a much better tool. I know a few people who need to have a vibrometer installed so they can be adjusted to calm down. ;) Now.. on to the next project. Any hints as to what that will be or is it still a surprise to you?
