Scripture shows us that we will not bear the wrath of God while it's being poured on this earth. The church will not be here at that moment but people slowly over the course of the 7 year tribulation will become christian. Biblical prophecy is extremely complex with the apocalyptic literature etc

I disagree with this after doing a study on the end times. When you study Revelation, you must not go outside of the Bible, always cross-reference everything with the prophetic books (Daniel, Hosea, Amos, Ezekiel, etc) but also with the Gospels, and it will make perfect sense.
