Looks like you have a lot of power in that blue boat. When you blast off you need to be careful you could throw all the water out of the pond. Then what you going to do, find a new pond. I would bring the front down some. Perfect prop

I know right. When I got into the hobby I lived near several large bodies of water, perfect for the boating hobby. unfortunately we moved and the lake/pond choices are few and far between... the park pond is the closest to my house so I make do. Thanks for watching

4:00 in and it looks like that's just too much lift on the front end..... It acts like too much prop. At 5:11 in it looks like too much prop again. That motor will eat some amps if properly fed..... 7:59 in: That's a 1740 prop. The 17 series has TONS of lift and three blades will be more lift. That's going to throw your setup WAY off..... Getting my popcorn now, this should be fun..... 8:45 Squirrley 😉 At 12:47, you're beginning to see. Those 17 series props are usually found on riggers and really high-performance hydros. They require a setup that takes advantage of all the lift they create; like a more aft CG. Always fun and informative videos.

You can clearly see the wind blowing the fountain water every which way. One minute the winds blowing one direction & the next the other. Blowing the boat off the water. I bought the 740 3blade for my new rigger build & to try on my blackjack 24 I was literally just trying the prop out since I had just finished balancing it. Guess I want be trying new props on my boats anymore on video. I literally give up, showing different props/motors & running my boats for fun. I'm gonna start doing videos twice a week so I can pre test every boat before I show on the channel to ensure everything is okay and will not be picked apart at every chance. I even said the prop wouldn't be good for the boat not a good choice, and that I was just having fun. How would you like it if I went on every one of your videos and picked apart every move you made, and trust me I could, but I don't.

Big B can you do a video on how to lubricate bearing motors? If I can do it in the boat or if I gotta pull the motor out. Can you bring out the delta force boat again? How do you like the delta force? I think I may build one if I can get my hands on a hull.

You need to do an in depth brushless motor tutorial...4 pole 6 pole difference KV explained high KV low KV difference ect...

I know you're not a fan of Hobbywing, but their 180 amp ESC is awesome and cheap! I have had great luck with them. Cheers Big "B"!

I had the 180 in my cart then noticed the swordfish 200 on sale. I should of gotten the 180. I've had terrible luck with hobbywing esc in trucks and boats. Not saying there not good, just my personal experience with HW esc has been terrible. I did get a hobbywing 30 for the mini mono. So I'm not sharing esc's anymore.

I think the sr315 would suffice I've gotten then wet before without issue. For added protection I'd invest in a can of corrosionX. I use corrosion X in all of my recievers it doesn't take much jut a quick "zetz" with great success totally submerged for 30 minutes, shoot I sank a boat for hours had to fish it off the bottom and the receiver works to this day. I've never ran the 29, wish I could help. I've herd of guys running the ul19 prop on that boat? Not sure though. If I had to guess anybody a 1616 ABC prop would be a good choice? Like I said in never run that boat I hate to steer u wrong

ABC props are definitely where it's at, so much so Proboat and Oxidean made knock offs, lol. They take a different setup vs standard prop so play with them a little.

Think I have a problem? New ul 19, all stock 2s 5000mah 100c batteries. Ran boat, lvc hit came right in. Put on smart charger s2200, at home both batteries red 0. Why? Lvc to low? Both charged up to normal.

Over discharged that's the worst thing for a battery. I stop running my boats around 3.80 volts or 3.90 v

Charge on nimh until the voltage hits 3.30 then switch to lipo charge and charge at 3a c rate to bring battery back to life

What I don't understand is why the esc did not cut out at the factory setting of 3.2 lvc? I have a programming card on the way, and I'll change timing to 0 and lvc to 3.4. Temps on wires are 170!! Way to hot.

So RC Planet won't cover the esc or 2 batteries! And just got it yesterday. So is thw OSE Raider 150 esc good to go? All plug and play, or will I need to solder stuff? Will it work with what's left of the stock system, on off switch, motor stuff like that. You have been an outstanding help to me Big B. If I ever travel up from Florida I'll look you up!!

You will love the ABC props. When you say props are a black art you hit the nail on the head. Apparently I had called Cris Hoffman told him what I had and he sent me a prop. My wife told me all this and she told me I gained 7mph and dropped temps. Jeff lol 10 second Tom

Personally in that little boat I like higher kv motors 2100kv 3665. Heat isn't an issue with that little boat with 6s. Hard to find a 3665 so maybe a low kv 3660 that will handle 6s 1900-2000kv. Idk it takes me weeks to pick out a motor for my boat these are just suggestions, I really hate picking motors electronics for other people's build because I'd hate to be liable for something that didn't work out with there set up. Hope you understand and good luck with your build my friend.

5000 100c I get anywhere from 5 to 8 min depending on how hard I'm running the boat and what prop I'm running
