I finally received my HD .187 ose flex cable for the ul 19. Ran 4 sets through it, and NO grease or water in the boat, great addition to the boat. All thanks to you and your video's!!!

when you moved batts forward they seemed kinda loose... i always used velco as well as straps on a few boats and my planes to make sure cg stay exactly right...but hopefully yours were tight enough not to shift...with planes it can be a serious issue if batteries move ..nice demo

Yea man wire drives is the way to go with a hydroplane or Catamaran well any forward mounted motor I'd like to go wire one day. Slick set up. 👌 smoother than butter

That is a lot of water. The Veles29 stays bone dry even when it’s upside down , which in my case is a lot. Lol. I also agree with you as far as just looks the ul 19 is about as sexy as rtr rc boats get

When I tape the ul-19 up I don't have a drop of water I may put some weather striping around the hatch, it works pretty good on the mini mono.

I cut the trays out of mine and like it. Knocked off around 3oz and lowered the CG just a pinch. Its a little tight getting the batts out using the good stuff velcro.

@@IRONCLADRC Yea, Im waiting on a CF sheet to duplicate the original (but slightly modified) tray and going back to the straps. Switched to snap lock type velcro atm and really like that, but batt sometimes pops loose if you dont have a smooth run.

The velcro strips work a dream, I have the same boat an couldn't stand the velcro straps they put in, 2 strips of velcro on each side of the bottom of the battery, an 2 inside the floor of the boat, got mine of Amazon UK, u get like 1metre an a half for pretty cheap

That's good to hear i may go ahead and do that modification,, because i agree with you about the 2 velcro straps holding the battery's down is Definitely a pain in the but especially with my big sausage fingers.

big b...is that the stufing tube and flexshaft from the blackjack 42 ? I use them in my sonicwake v2......the stock flex shaft which comes in tbe UL-19 is a 4 mm or a 3/16 ?

The ul-19 has a 4mm or .150 cable there basically the same size with a 3/16 PROP shaft. The BJ42 HAS A 1/4 FLEX WITH A 1/4 STEPPED DOW TO 3/16 SHAFT.

What kind of run times are you getting with the 5000 packs? I have found the space between the collet and stuffing tube if it's too much will let the cable flex and twist up, so keeping the space small as possible on any size cable. Great job!

big B just bought mine but i want to run it anti clockwise...is it rasy to change the turn fin to the othher side ? do you know any one who has installed one turn fin on each side ? how will that perform ?

I've never tried just a left turnfin but you should get a full left turn with fin mounted on the left side. In my next shrimp outrigger video I'm gonna be trying two turn fins to see how it works. ? Interested to see for myself
