"I still have some wall space" and then smiles. Summer, we are behind you on that! I'm laughing as I can relate to that comment. It's time for shingling plants. And the shingling looks so cool.

Very nice plant. I like the way it's mounted on the board...very interesting way to display and grow the plant. That's great for lack of space with all the other plants..lol. Thank you, Summer.

Amazing how you always find space for plants 🌿💚

Interesting plant, I have never found one in person. I do have a few places on my walls for a few of these, so if I ever find one I might just have to get one or more. Thanks Summer, see you soon.

Neat design! The way its mounted on the sphagnum reminds me of forest ivy mounting on the sphagnum that grows on tree trunks

interesting, I haven't seen this plant before, thanks for the video Summer.

I soak mine and if I fertilize I just put it in the water. Spraying would take too long and the moss drys too fast anyway. I have new growth that looks like flower buds. Can’t wait.

I have this plant and it’s not doing well do you pant yours in soil?

I would like to try mounting a miniature species or cv. of an epiphytic plant in that way. Interesting plant, have seen certain types of Dischidia in hanging baskets only.

Thank you for posting! I just found one of these to add to my epiphyte collection and I love it!

This plant is Dischidia Snaily, a hybrid. It’s a cross of vidalii x sp Camiguin Island

Hi summer, I know it’s been a while since you’ve posted this, but this plant is actually a hybrid - Dischidia vidalii x Dischidia sp. ‘Camiguin Island’. It is commonly incorrectly called D. imbricata & D. platyphylla in the US.

I got this in a plant swap. Once it's stabilized, I plan on mounting it with my hoya imbricata.

It’s pronounced, “Disk-ihd-E -Uh” This is not likely Dischidia imbricata based on appearance. Actually looks like D. cleistantha. Have any flower photos? Fertilizing can be done by soaking the plaque/mount in a bucket with dilute mix of fertilizer in it. They love it during the warmer months. They are a member of the sect. Conchophyllum which contains several shell leaved species.

Could I do half moss and left me root up on the bare wood, Or would it not root onto the wood , or have enough moisture for the roots?

If you're not soaking the plant, how to water it? Just spray it? Or put in in the sink and pour water over?!
@XPrincess304 жыл бұрын
Woowoo I think you just pour water over it with a watering can

Usually when you see ants on your plant it’s a bad thing because that can be a sign of scale or aphid infestation. In the case of myrmecophytes the presence of ants is perfectly fine and also really cool.
