Did NOT expect a Lore theory! But I love Ann and you did great!! This video is really well made and you also put effort into the details like how Ann wasn't yet dead but still bleeding out at the brink of death when the Cat Avatar came! The only thing I am questioning is...if Ann truly had Polycoria? As much as the Plauge that hit Ann's City, probably wasn't very ''natural'' as we see it later ''follow'' only sertain city's. I wonder if her eye diseas is also coincidentaly and ''just'' a normal case of Polycoria or if it also is the Eye of Darkness that chose her in some way?

Where does it state that Ann's father died?

It doesn't say it explicitly (not in any of the letters, deductions, extra files that I have read), but we can deduce it from a few things: - "Survivor's Guilt" Deduction; A mourning garment: Intricate decorations, exquisite materials... Its initial softness is maintained despite that it has been worn multiple times. (So, Ann has worn the mourning garment multiple times) - Judgement by Curse (Deduction); A priest's letter: "I prayed all day, and that girl's blood relatives finally regained consciousness. Yet the demon remains, and more people will be invaded by the evil spirits. The devil's eye is a curse by the demon..." (Who this priest consider's to be "the girl's blood relatives" is up in the air, but I'd assume this means that both the mother & father were both ill) - Ann's 2023 Letter states that she and Alva arrived at the manor. Where is her father in this scene? He wrote in his 2022 "Hastily Written Letter" to Alva that he and Ann were going to move to the countryside... That never happened and he isn't mentioned again. - (This last one is a massive leap but...) The mention of Ann's inheritance in her deductions could also signify both parents may have passed. If you have any other theories, please do tell me! I may be wrong and future letters may give us a better look at her story!
