It hasn't been shown yet but there is likely a core rule that will keep a unit from using an ability more than once per phase (such as the Gaunt Summoner's Silver Tower). Otherwise there are some things that just go infinite, such as the Nighthaunt hero dealing infinite mortal damage with his corpse candles.

Yeah, interesting point. I def agree with you that there’ll be a core rule that says that no unit can be affected by an ability more than once per phase, but the thing I don’t get is, if you’re right, why they even have the wording “Once per phase/turn” for some abilities and not for others. But yeah, not sure how Reikenor’s ability should work otherwise.

@ryanburruss yeah we will have to see for sure. It's possible that, say, you could bring two summoners and do it twice in deployment, whereas the once per phase (army) abilities mean only once for the entire army. That's my assumption at least.

I love so much the new Pink horrors Warscroll, first thing I thought when I read the scroll: these guys are drastically dropping in points, and thank the changer of ways for that! 260points for a tarpit unit that does nothing else and could ultimately be destroyed super easily was a bummer, it also was a pain in the ass to calculate your wounds. What I see for the pink is a way to avoid using CP to rally your Blues and brimstones and we sure know how precious will the command points be ! If my opponent wants to kill all the blues ? Well, a reinforced unit of 20 blues are still 40 health, for what I see since we are getting the factions focus, is how much it will be harder to do 30 or 40 damage with one unit hammer unit. Meanwhile pinks will do their shenanigans, grab objectives etc. Anyway I really love them and I’m sure we are going to see them! (Well… I’m no diviner so I’ll take that one with a grain of salt)

Love the optimism here! You might be right. Definitely agree they'll see a massive points drop, depending on how much of a drop, it might make them viable

I’m amazed at how that one guy is confused about the roll a D3, and on a 2 or 3…..Why is he trying to cheat the roll? It says roll a D3. I know many people use a D6 and half the roll, but if that is in someway trying to be busted by some rules lawyer, then require people to roll a D3. Then there’s no questions. Sure it turns out the same exact way, but we have to do this stupidity for people who act confused about something we’ve all known for years. Require players to roll an actual D3 now. Fixed. Thanks guy.

Dang. 'That one guy' sure is an interesting way to be referred to. It's not that weird to imagine something like that might occur, though by now I am in agreement that it's on a roll of 3-4 on a d6. Having said that, how would that ever be cheating if all factions have the same wording? It would be a different interpretation at best, surely? Anyway, just felt like sharing my thought process. Weirder things have happened in GW rules writing land. Greetings, -That Guy

Glad that "free" summoning is gone. Destiny dice being there is great. Wyrdflame ability is a bit wyrd, but probably a fine, if small, addition. It is really hard to say what this army will look and play like, just from the faction focus. "Especially I think everyone is probably happy with Kairos." - No, actually. I am with Vince Venturella on this one. I think his warscroll includes one of the biggest mistakes I have seen in 4th edition so far: Interacting with battle tactics, which is an optional modular system. And on top of that, interacting with it in a very specific way that makes it impossible to interact with a potential replacement system later down the road. This ability really should have been about destiny dice manipulation.
