This is probably not complemented on much but the lighting/actually being able to see whats going on on table is second to none!

casting rolls are part of the declaration step.so roll to cast first and resolve any potentional miscast. only if the spell actually is succesfully casted can you roll for the terrain effect.

Great game, the matchup of my dreams as a player of both factions. Also loving the AOS content in general!

This was such a fun game I was glad to catch it live! Also watching this and chatting about cheese instead of sleeping as predicted did lead me to sleepily cut myself whilst grating smoked gouda at work. Which was not that gouda!

Banishments (getting rid of manifestations in the hero phase) are not free. They take a cast (of spell or prayer.) You cannot use multiple blood tithe abilities in a turn. The Spelleater curse is a reaction. Reactions trigger after declarations, and the dice for spells are rolled in the declaration. And for the love of the gods read the manifestation rules like six times each. They are quite convoluted.

Could you point to where the rules say banishing is not free? Is it in an FAQ?

@@TabletopTitanscore rules 1.0 wizards and priest 1.1 power levels. Not exactly in the spot most people would look but they give the example that in an active player’s hero phase a wizard 2 can cast one spell and try to banish once for a total of 2.

@@TabletopTitans Advanced rules - Magic section 1.1 "Each Wizard and Priest has a power level, shown in brackets after the keyword, e.g. Wizard (2). A Wizard or Priest's power level determines the number of Spell, Prayer, or Banish abilities they can use per phase, in any combination. For example, a Wizard (2) unit could use 1 Spell and 1 Banish ability in their commander's hero phase."

The thirster shouldn't have taken D3mw. When a priest miscasts/prays(?) they loose d3 prayer points and that's it. No more hate from the gods. Rule is under, 'Magic 3.0 Prayers.'

2:08:21 you played correctly the tie on the priority roll. There was a contradiction somewhere in the glossary that has been fixed.
@taysimon20334 ай бұрын
Priests no longer take mortal damage on a chanting roll of 1, instead: On an unmodified chanting roll of 1, the prayer fails, its effect is not resolved and you must remove D3 ritual points from the Priest using the prayer.

8" movement isn't enough to autoscore take flanks. Hence better to have 2 units on one flank. Would suck roll 1. You start more than 9" from enemy territory. Hence going exactly 9 wont get you out

Pretty sure in Bridger's turn 1 those flamers he failed to kill with hounds forgot to fight? They could have got the last wound on that unit so he failed take the flanks? (Felt very sorry to Adrian after the tzaangor wiffed so hard 😅)

Great game! Quick correction: you have to declare the reroll on the change BEFORE you fail a charge now.
@ElOvnen5 ай бұрын
Nah. You roll as part of the 'declare' step. The re-roll command is a reaction to the declaration, and therefore *after*.

@Jura1334 ай бұрын
This is incorrect. Please see Core Rules section 5.2 - Using Abilities (pp. 7 of the Core Rules for the pdf). First, you declare the ability (Charge) and at this step, you must resolve any Declare instructions. The Charge ability has a Declare instruction of rolling 2d6. Then, you can use reactions. Re-rolling charges (with Forward To Victory, pp. 30 of the pdf under 5.0 of Advanced Rules) is a Reaction and thus declared after rolling the 2d6 present in the Declare step of the ability "Charge" (14.3).
