Great video, Disc is so much fun. I've got a little bored pushing 20's on my 483 main disc but I've found a new joy from leveling a fresh 380(ish) ilvl 70 and pushing M+ keys really testing the limits of disc. Pugging in M+2-10's are a nightmare and really tests ones skillset.

Hi Disc, I think it was this video where you mentioned Vuhdo - I have watched so many of yours and they are amazing thank you. Just a quick note that Vuhdo can display shields (hopefully I didn't misunderstand what you meant). Regardless in Vuhdo settings go to General tab -> Threat / Incoming -> in the Shield bar section check Enable and Show Overshield. You can also customize its colour in Colors -> Modes.

You'd have to timestamp it, but I think I said it doesn't show shields in the best way. In order to maximize our Rapture we need to be able to compare absorb values in a common way- VuhDo puts absorbs into the deficit of a health bar (and reverse fill is they are 100%) making it impossible to get an accurate comparison between players. With Grid2 you can set all absorbs to grow from the left as health would making them very easy to compare. :D

Hey man, still a huge fan of your content! Have you ever thought of downloading an ability tracker? I watch a demo lock (Mythikal, I believe), and it helps me learn a lot in addition to his commentary. That plus your awesome walkthroughs would definitely be top-tier education on disc. Also - what tanks have you been seeing are the easiest for Disc to heal?

hey hey great video. one thing. I couldn't find the weak aura for tracking the number of torments? would appreciate it if you could share it ♥ also I went through your weak auras and they seem to be a little bit old and they were some amazing ones that I found in this video. like how the display changes color for shadow covenant or rapture bar or the bloodlust. they're just simply amazing. I was wondering if you have shared them somewhere, or you don't prefer to share them which is completely fine. and one last thing is that I tried some of the links in the description (the pastebin ones) and I couldn't open them idk if they're expired or it's just my connection.

Doesn’t fade have a 10%dr? I would fade more. Or do you find it’s not needed so much; to just use on cooldown?

No, Fade does not have a 10% reduction- however, there is a talent point for that, but I’m not using it in this dungeon. I splashed the build I was using for this run in the beginning!

Very informative video! What do you use to track offensive cds on the group? I track those + cc + defensives on omnicd but it can be confusing at first glance during hectic moments so I want to track them separately somehow

It's OmniCD. there is next to 0 reason to track CC and defensive CDs; only need to track offensives. However, with my grid2 I see if defensives are active, but seeing defensive CD timers is useless.

i imported your torment counter WA but it only shows a number and doesn't show the mindbender bubble like yours does if you could clear this up for me would be greatly appreciate and i will be purchasing a metafy lesson very soon. Thanks again for all your content.

It is only a number! The circle bubble for the mindbender is the native display from wow.

@@david2dope yes, I don’t recommend ElvUI to anyone- however, Elv still can show your “totem” icon for the Mindbender. You might have it disabled.

Great! For the Juggernaunt pack, i tend to just stand in melee if there is another ranged. Maybe a bit of a selfish play but i figure its safer for the group if you know exactly who the jump will always be on (assuming one other ranged)@@JustDiscipline

Definitely following. curious, does your penance ever cast on a player even though you are targeting an enemy? I notice this happens sometimes if I penance right after an attack (eg MindBender, Smite, Penance), the penance will not target the enemy i'm attacking but will cast to a player.

It does not for me because I have a macro for an offensive Penance only, then if I ever want a defensive Penance it comes from my Clique Addon. /startattack #showtooltip penance /cast Penance

To my standards it is for two reasons. Instant casts are better than casts for M+ and we get it once per Shadow Covenant unlike Halo.

@@mehrshad3d I think by name, it's totally your choice. There are black and white areas of the talent tree, I don't think that's one of them. I would say the quicker cast is more valuable. Why do you think Bright Pupil is better?

@@mehrshad3d My stance is you don't need it that much anyway, your attack spells are also huge AOE heals you should lean on instead. Too many people get into a rhythm where they rely on the wrong spells in their book. i.e. Radiance Losing the instant cast radiance was huge, reducing the cast time is the next best solution. Especially since we have all these torments to get.

as a disc priest myself I will say I don't like these builds at all, nor the disc priest gameplay in dragonflight... the mindbender and all around it is just not fun at all

Personally I love Mindbender, but the old version before 10.2.
