Disclaimer Episodes 1 & 2 Breakdown Recap & Review *SPOILERS*

I wasn’t too sure how committed I was to watching this show after the first episode, but after the second one, I’m definitely in ... at least for now. I have a couple issues that could be described as nitpicks … IDK, I’ll let you guys be the judge of that … but by and large, I’m finding this show to be incredibly captivating - despite it feeling kind of like more of the same from Apple. It feels like Apple has released this show 7-8 times already - all starring Nicole Kidman - but there’s something about what the team of Cuaron, Blanchett, and Kline bring to this that makes it feel like something fresh, and I’m honestly really looking forward to the next episode.

From that I have already gathered, Alfonso Cuarón is setting the audience up to assume the cliché, when in fact, we will eventually discover in the final episode that the actuality is completely not what we expected things to be. I believe in the last episode we are going to be whiplashed by something that comes as a complete surprise.
