Hi Derek, cylinder balance readings spot on, usual cylinder number one is worst due to no heater plug. Auto have three track accelerator pedal track 3 is connected to auto box for drop down gear give it some power. 10p engines cannot be mapped by Nanocom. 15p engines can. Not so sure if nanocom can read individual ABS sensors, or bleed ABS module, and power bleed the brakes. Still have a Foxwell unit that will do most of all rover and land rovers up till 2016. When you come across I will show what it can do.

Another great video, such a handy device to have and great that someone lent it to you 👍🏻. Are you still having issues with the power dropping off whilst driving?? I've a issue with mine now and again when braking the pedal goes hard and you can hear the clutch slipping slightly. Thinking master cylinder 😢

Happy to report power has been fine since changing the MAF and MAP. Not sure if the Ambient Air Pressure sensor has made any difference! Intriguing clutch problem. Any brake calipers sticking on?

At the risk of stating the obvious, a lot of codes are likely to be historical rather than current. I'm absolutely certain I'll have a bunch of similar codes on mine, for example, because I unplugged the MAF, MAP and Ambient Pressure sensors while trying to figure out why mine was running rough. And, for the record, unplugging any/all of those sensors didn't actually stop the TD5 from running. 😵💫 The "blades" in the airbox will be to create turbulent air flow. I suspect that's to get any dirt swirling around so ALL of the air filter gets used, rather than the bit of the air filter nearest the inlet getting clogged up after a couple of months.

If you unplug the sensors it will still run, it will use a pre programmed average map. The map will not take into account the conditions so will be less efficient. The actual swirls where developed to help any water drain through the bottom of the air filter and not go into the intake. High pressure zone at the top. Low pressure zone at the bottom that the water molecules drop into.

Air box - yes probably. The TD5 will run without some stuff because the ECU substitutes average readings, but it will run better with everything working, I suppose!
