It's not that bad. I did a playthrough with cheats - 10 stats Harry, + 50 free skill points from the start, and I would even say that this is one of the most interesting ways to play. Yes, you don't get some of the funny moments, as you have fewer failed checks, but - you still have "snake eyes", and the conversations in your head become really close to dialogue. It becomes noticeable how volition compensates for electrochemistry, and authority, drama, and empathy constantly offer opposing actions.

Look at the top, the white bar, while he's taking skill points AWAY. @greenbird keeps going till it fills up entirely, but just barely, then reset removes skill points 1 MORE time, then that new game has maxxed out. That's what I think anyway.

Download reWASD, it's free for 14 days. Remap one of keyboard/mouse button to "options" xbox button or whatever, then enable the remap. Procceed as shown in the video.

Unfortunately this is no longer working, as of patch 1.0.9 opening the menu in the new character creation screen now just acts as another back button. I am unaware of if there is another way for this same effect to be accomplished as I could not find anything online, and I tried multiple times to find another way to do this without any luck. If anyone is aware of how to do this after patch 1.0.9 please either leave it in the comments, or in the reply to this comment.

Not sure if this actually works considering I've installed the game digitally, but if you have a physical copy of Disco Elysium you may be able to delete then redownload the game but not the updates by disconnecting from the internet. Leaving it in it's 1.0 state where this patch is not fixed, do the glitch, and then connect back to the internet and install the updates for the game. Once again, I do not own a physical copy of Disco Elysium and I have no idea if this will actually work. But if you do, please try this and reply to this comment saying if it has worked or not.

SO, I bought a physical copy of Disco Elysium JUST TO TEST THIS and drum roll please!!!........ It didn't work :( Yeah, unfortunately it didn't work even when the game was in it's 1.0 state. I'm not sure if this is because I downloaded it on a PS5 or something else. Anyways. Unfortunately this doesn't work so if you want to do this you have to own this game on PC :(
