Luis, agree, Actually it began for me in New York City. I'd hit clubs like Studio 54, Roselans, The Fun House, and the legendary Loft. Oh excuse me, The Garage. There were those clubs in the outer boroughs, The Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens, but nothing compared like the city. You're absolutely right, i would give any to back to those days. Though i'm happy that i have fond memories. Unlike the youth of today.

This is really an underrated classic disco song. Unique melody, great phrasing etc. It has it all. On the western part of Chicago (Maywood) the dj would play this at least once a night. Those were the days when music was music.

It was demolished about 12 or more years ago.There was also an Amazing 2 story yellow Chinese restaurant close to the Copa callled Henry's Chinahouse. They were in business for over 20 years and had the Best House fried rice. It was the only place open at 3 am that served good food and was always packed.

Barry wrote the lyrics and the music was written by Maurice and Robin , they also sing the background . I had the LP ( Pleasure Train ) from 1978 . I was 14 and I was crazy with the disco .
