Nope, sex trafficking doesn’t need to involve actual sex by the laws of the US and most other countries. There are many things that belong to that category. Look over the relevant laws before speaking so incorrectly. Discord is a US registered company and as such, sending explicit images or video through their US located servers especially to and from US based individuals falls under the production and telecommunications laws of the US. So while in some states 16 is the legal age of consent, there is still regulation that makes sex work illegal for them federally. Also about the force aspect. You fundamentally misunderstand sex trafficking if you think that force is required for it to be a crime. There are many types of illegal coercion without force, and when it comes to minors even more so. I suggest you read up on trafficking laws and the terms used so you don’t sound so uninformed in the future.

Because from what I did read is that there are so many things in the United States that seem to contradict one another from state to state. Especially about laws of consent and whatnot. The US is just an overall confusing place. You have places that have were 16 is legal limit, with consent and then that you have other places where it's actually 18 or 19? No idea how you deal with it. But if sex work in general is considered illegal then I can understand for sure, but then how do all the porn websites legally continue. Is it because it's film or something? Either way this entire situation is nasty and despicable if they are using minors for any of this. I was just trying to clarify what the limits of consent and age is in these areas. Since it varies from place to place.

Basically, the reason that adult explicit videos are legal is that while they are commercial, they are produced consensually rather than through force, fraud or coercion…. Hopefully at least. The producers of such videos are required to do age verification and keep that paperwork on hand. Sex trafficking is specific to commercial sex with at least one of those three features. However when it comes to people under 18, it’s not those three features. It is outright banned, and so even if there is no other coercion, it still is illegal.
