Discord “fixed” the Block Button! (And added more Useless Features)

Me personally, the show message feature when you blocked someone should just be a toggle. I blocked somebody before, and in the same server we were in, they started spreading photos of me that I didn't show to anybody else. If I didn't see it myself, I would probably be oblivious. Also, people are naturally curious and want to get a reaction out of people. That's who we are. I just think the "view message" feature should be a toggle if you want it on or off.

Honestly they need to make you completely invisible if you block someone. They shouldn't be able to even see your messages. I remember blocking someone in a community server because they were @-ing and being talking very _"nerd emoji"_ like to anything I and some others sent in a specific channel (no, they weren't staff), and they made it such a bug that I blocked them because they could respond to my messages, and that _'unblock by proxy'_ issue was raised. I ended up not talking in the server for like 3 weeks after, it was so awkward and for no reason lmao.

The new sticker feature is just silly. We've always been able to hit "CTRL + S" to bring up stickers & search without having to use all that finger-clicking energy. Same goes for emojis (CTRL + E) and gifs (CTRL + G)

Why can't it be a native toggle in discord, so YOU can decide if you want to see blocked messages or not? 8:23 Ctrl+S opens the sticker window and focuses the search box. You can type a search then press enter to select the first one, or use the arrow keys to select others. So yes, this has already existed (in an even shorter form) for a long time. It also works for emotes (Ctrl+E) and GIFs (Ctrl+G).

Honestly imo blocking people should be done like on Steam so like you block them and they are not unable to reach u but they are still on friend list and can be removed separately, in short blocks only communication. A feature that is included in blocking button which removes annoying friend account while blocking communication evades basic principles of friend list feature itself.
