I wasnt able to change my email and he/she still got into my discord account. How does this happen??

This just happened to me, I’m 25 years old. My discord account was made 12 years ago . My accounts age is Almost as old as their age requirement alone. I have a ton of important stuff saved on that discord along with a bunch of servers and things I own including nitro which I’ve been paying for for 3+ years. I’m freaking out I’ve been waiting for a response idk what to do

If so many people are going through 3rd party to purchase Nitro, then it seems like Discord has a pricing issue. I personally think the Nitro pricing is a bit steep. For the basic version, it's fine but I feel like I could live without. The fun stuff is on the regular Nitro, but for $10 a month, now it feels like it's not worth it at all just for some fancy custom profiles and server boosts that most people won't care. Discord needs to figure it out
