Our founder and sommelier Alessandro Pepe guides us to discover the New Wave of Lambrusco from Emilia Romagna. Lambrusco is the oldest sparkling wine ever produced, originally obtained through the spontaneous refermentation in the bottle and symbolizes the everyday table wine which thanks to its sparklingness and gracefulness, transmits the sense of aggregation and joy typical of this area. Over time, Lambrusco has evolved thanks to the combination with the famous local products such as Parmigiano Reggiano, Parma Ham, traditional balsamic vinegar from Modena and handmade Tortellini. Today thanks to a group of new producers, the legacy of Lambrusco is in good hands because through daily work they are rediscovering and promoting ancient varieties of local grapes. The tradition and territory of Via Emilia have a bright future ahead.

Really cool video, I wish more Lambrusco from growers would make it to NYC (liker grower champagne). We are getting a little and those are great wines!

Those are little producers with very limited production but we'll try to get as much bottles as we can and we'll bring some to NYC for sure!
