My kid was watching the park and just so you know next time you go. You can walk around the whole lake. You keep going past the motocoaster and there is more wolf entrance to the camp ground. It wraps around to the boomerang and the laser light show area. But your video was really good. My 6 year loves watching it cause she finds new stuff to beg us to take her on.

also, thanks for the heads up on Six Flags Darien Lake, I will be in the area on Thursday and Tuesday next week and will either hit Six Flags and relax (filmed all I need) or hit Seabreeze and work my butt off. Time will only tell

I work for Publix Supermarkets which is based in Florida. The founder George Jenkins had Toledo Weight Scales installed in the stores and people would check their weight for free. Apparently this was a common practice but most stores charge a small fee. Today those scales still exist as a form of nostalgia. On your video at 4:19 it looks like that same company for the scale. I know that it doesn’t matter but I did spot it. Enjoyed the video. At least I’m paying attention to details 😂

Have an amazing time. Mind Eraser will be closed all year, but all the other rides are ready to go. Thanks for watching, and we have a lot of other Darien Lake content, so check out the playlist
@kimp7160 Жыл бұрын
I haven't been here since the summer of 2001. I grew up in Southern Ontario so we mostly went to Canada's Wonderland but Darien Lake was just as close so we would often go if we wanted a park with similar rides but much shorter lines. Last time there, we rode the Mind Eraser 5 times in a row without having to wait in line (we still had to go through the motions of running through the queue each time). The walk through was nice because I had actually forgotten much about the layout. I will never forget Ride of Steel though. Not sure anyone can. And Predator was very bumpy
@125RollerCoaster Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching our walkthrough. Predator is going through a major retracking so it isn't nearly as bumpy as it once was. We have a lot of new Six Flags Darien Lake content coming so if you enjoyed this one, check out the others.

have you ever been on the mind eraser? I'm going on it next week and im kinda scared so any tips?
@125RollerCoaster Жыл бұрын
Yes. There is only one good way to ride Mind Eraser. When you get strapped in, lean forward. I know it sounds weird but by leaning forward, your head and ears are not within the restraints so you are not ping pong back and forth with your head smacking the restraints. Let me know how it is riding then and enjoy the park. We will be back there soon

It's not a clone this Ride of steel was the original and a original ride isn't a clone in my opinion

Good point, but it was built to be a prototype, so I will consider it a clone. Agree to disagree but thanks for watching

Make sure to use APP before going. Low staff and life guards make most of the park like a ghost town. Six flags needs to treat this park better. Big K was closed for the whole season, lazy river only in July and tornado in July. Then in August maybe kids area water park, wave pool, Brian drain or tube city will be open on a day.
@125RollerCoaster2 жыл бұрын
we admit they need to treat it better but the reality is that it isn't a huge money maker so it will get some bandaids for a bit.
@zacharyj10042 жыл бұрын
How was Predator when you rode it ?
@125RollerCoaster2 жыл бұрын
Not too bad. the titan track was great but someone told me it is running too fast and will need to be completely titan tracked. All in all, it is a decent ride but if they totally retrack it that would be amazing
@zacharyj10042 жыл бұрын
@@125RollerCoaster I always thought the coaster needed a bit more speed pre titan track era to give more air time and positive g's so maybe if it gets retracked it will give a better ride
@125RollerCoaster2 жыл бұрын
@@zacharyj1004 agreed, it makes sense to completely retrack it but with Six Flags up in the area about that park I will be curious to see if they pull the trigger

We have memberships so the price isn't bad at all (about $20 a month that gives us 4 front of the line passes, drinks, and admission to all Six Flags Parks). I know they have quiet rooms now (near Viper) if that would help you out. All in all, it is a pretty decent park.
