It will all depend on their staffing. It has become a HUGE issue at parks the past three years and fingers are crossed they figure it out soon, way too many night rides missed.

@@905shadz8 Hersheypark has the same problems, there is only one way in and out of these parks so on concert days with hockey also, you might as well park and walk home

We have been going here for 20+ years and honestly these last few years I haven't been quite impressed with the place. It's like six flags bought it back and it just went downhill. The wheel is gone along with one of my favorites Grizzly run... there's other stuff too but these areas of the park just feel dead now

mind eraser at Six Flags Darien Lake is getting new trains just like Six Flags New England Mind Eraser got before they changed the ride to the Riddler Revenge and put new green paint on the track and Yellow paint on the support structure. The new trains with the vest restraints are very great to have because of the lack of head banging on the elements of the ride.

I heard that people didn't like the old trains on Mind Eraser at both Six Flags New England back in the day and Six Flags Darien Lake because of the hard over the shoulder harnesses kept on making people smash into them and boy the final brakes on Mind Eraser at Six Flags Darien Lake and the now Riddler Revenge at Six Flags New England are very jolting. On video of Six Flags Darien Lake Mind Eraser the final brakes make the camera bounce a little bit. You can hit your back on the seat back on the Riddler Revenge when you hit the final brakes ut sometimes hurts.

As far as we know, the answer is no, however, Six Flags seems to finally realize they can not keep increasing the costs without something new and shiny so fingers crossed 2024 gets the park something new. 😄

I am hoping the Niagara Amusement park builds the shuttle loop coaster that used to be Kennywood's Laser Loop. Id like to loop that park in with a trip to Darian Lake. Darien Lake looks like a really pretty park.

The Mind Eraser (sign at beginning of video) was a cool indoor Scrambler at Riverside Park in MA. The name was recycled when Six Flags bought them and used for a coaster instead. The history of Riverside Park completely erased without a trace as you walk around Six Flags New England. A park I visited often in my youth and we had season passes. We even have a home video from the 80s we took. Is Darien Lake worth visiting for an older couple without kids who doesn't like steel coasters or big thrill seeking rides? Never liked those kind of rides as a kid, young adult or now as an older adult. We can't be the only ones. We passed by a few years ago and may do so again. We could get another seasons pass and visit Six Flags New England, this park & Great Escape....if there is anything worth visiting still. The Great Escape had some decent attractions, and lots of memories left of the previous Story Town park we visited in 1978. We like calm family rides, especially haunted houses.

First of all, thanks for watching and commenting. It truly means a lot to us. So to answer your question, I would say yes to spending a day at Darien Lake. The family attractions would be great for you (antique cars, carousel, etc...) but also there is a throw back feel to the entire park. You can grab a bite to eat and sit by the lake and take it all in. Also you can leave the park and walk around the grounds and see the other lakes, campground and more. All in all, six flags darien lake would be a great day for you.

I went last year- SO. MANY. HORNETS. The park shouldn’t have even been open. I’m planning on going back there in a couple days later at night (Park is open later for the laser light show).

This park is the drizzling shits nobody goes here. The land this park sits on is mostly likely more worth than the park it’s self. I thought six flags America was bad. At the end of the day you did a fantastic job as far as your narration is concerned on trying to get people to come here. It’s something’s you need to be brutally honest about. This park has limitless potential but six flags refuses to put any money into this and that’s why it’s one of the worst parks in the chain.

It is very unique (esp when you look at others in the Six Flags chain) and it's history with Six Flags also is a reason it doesn't get the investment as others.
