@@mungulor I'm not entirely sure but u belive there are key differences. What's practiced in the US is different to the UK and also differs from Germany aswell.

@@mungulor I'd say Masonry in the Home Constitutions (England, Ireland, Scotland) has quite a bit more decorum and pomp than American Masonry. With that being said however, each jurisdiction has its own distinct flavour. Mexican and Brazilian Masonry for example, is WILD.

@andyg3 We're a fraternity dedicated to self-improvement in a moral sense and being charitable. We are a world wide organisation, although every country has it's own Grand Lodge. In the USA, every STATE has it's own Grand Lodge...and they are all independent of each other, though sharing the same principles and tenets. I've met individuals who are in the military who don't know each other and claimed to be Mason. One an older man told me all soldiers are Mason. I don't think that's correct though.
