I admire your work so much. The transitions between samples are seamless and your attention to detail is no joke--I love the subtle echoes added. #WaxOnly is genius because it shows the producer's creative process in an accessible way, entertaining for both the obsessive and those who don't care enough to browse WhoSampled. Thank you for this episode because D.I.T.C. are definitely neglected too often when people talk about legendary rap groups. I remember hearing that "Way of Life" was the last verse L spit in his lifetime. I think that song is great example of how he advanced as an MC, it sounds like a progression from something early like Finesse's "You Know What I'm About." L's murder is one of hip-hop's greatest tragedies because it's obvious he had so much left to give the world. R.I.P. Lamont and D.I.T.C. forever.
