I lost my job due to covid, I need to make some sort of income or I'll be homeless before I know it. I would like to turn my passion into a slight profit, I only have one 50 gallon and around 15, 10 gallon low tech mini pond tubs. I'm thinking about adding 16 10 gallon tanks , I have guppies and endlers in them and I'm hitting winter here in california so I'm moving as many tubs as I can fit into the greenhouse hoping that noting freezes but I looking for things that can withstand cold and warm temps (as low as 60 degrees f) I'm going to pick up some Mosquito fish , Japanese rice fish and white Cloud Mountain minnow , this is all new to me and just started but I love everything about aquatics. How come some of my healthy male bettas just look at each other / staying at the side of their bottles swaying their bodies , instead of aggressively opening up their gill covers ?? Don't feel sorry for the "CROUNTRY" country. The reason why asian countries have a lot of fish hobbies is that the price of any expensive fish in your country is very low, and the system that they use is very cheap as well, most of the fish food is widely available everywhere. Water change you can do it every time you want as most of the water available is fresh and doesn't have any chemicals. The reason why almost all the fish in your country is very expensive is that they import it to other countries, fees after fees, issues on airlines and a lot more (watch predatory fins you will learn a lot) that's why for a $.05 fish becomes $ 9.99 a piece or more.

@Heather joy makes sense why you thought they couldn't afford the fish, i have no idea if they do local breeding on your country, but for sure, most of the fish they do sell is imported the reason why is that breeding is alot harder that just spend few dollars and just let the buyers pay the price.
