The 888 fit is so flattering and comfortable for my body type. I have a 21 oz black overdye pair I’ve been working on for the last few years and they’re almost sweatpants soft. The weight makes them drape so nicely and I can’t say enough good things. The poly-cotton stitching is a real thing too, my other pairs with cotton thread are coming apart, which I like, but these are just tanks. Love your vids man, you gotta do a closet rundown at some point

@@TheRemnantOfAnEraLongGone I’ve got a pair of repro 1947 501’s, 90s 505’s and also 1937 501’s and I love those. Different jeans for different situations. Just need a big top block and room for my thighs. I blew out too many crotches in skinny jeans and they just never worked for me.

@@TheRemnantOfAnEraLongGone I own a pair of 21 oz 888s and another pair of 888 in the 25 oz. Its a great fit that is hard to beat. If I were to suggest between the 21 and 25 oz, I'd definitely go with the 21 oz. The 25 oz is great, but it can be a bit much and the 21 oz just seems to drape nicely and soften up more when thoroughly worn in. My other main pair that I rotate between my IH jeans is the Samurai s510xx in their 21 oz. It is certainly a very different denim and the fit is more of a classic traditional straight fit with a low to medium rise, but the indigo fades in beautifully (and much faster compared to IH), and they actually have better crotch mobility with a lower likelihood of getting any blowouts

Thanks again Sergei. Interesting thing I noticed on your faded LHTs - the crease fades on the rear pockets from the lining. Mine got those too. Don't see that happening on the right hand twill models. Perhaps something to do with the shrinkage on the initial was that makes the lining a bit looser.

Iron Heart are notorious for crotch blow-outs BUT Iron Heart will do all the repairs, you just have to send them your jeans. 👊👊👊

Love my iron heart jeans but I have the 21oz 1955s and they don’t have selvedge fly.. my 25oz 666 have selvedge fly ID. I think 1955s the only pair they make without selvedge ID?

Hi if you mean lined back pockets by "doubled" it's wrong I watched your vdo and believed you, but I bought the 666 in 19 once and the back pockets are not lined, unfortunatly. Features are different between jeans and I think they don't now worth the value, it's getting much more expensive now than in Japan, over rated to me. Business and fashion. I go for other japanese brands now, ONI Tanuki Samourai better quality...
