Thank you for this video. I agree with you: this series will be really appreciated by every preacher and serious reader of Scripture. I already used in my preaching ministry the Romans volume by Peterson: really GREAT! not too long but reach in its content, really well balanced between profound exegesis and relevant application. I highly recommend it !

Just out of curiosity, what stance does Schriner take on the authorship of Hebrews?

He follows Origen, "God only knows." He briefly interacts with theories related to Luke, Apollos, Paul, and Barnabas. He thinks Luke is possible but unproven. He calls Barnabas an attractive choice.

@@BestBibleCommentaries Yes, exactly. Although, I had assumed the series would have the same theological position rather than it depending on the author. Is that assumption incorrect?

The authors are all conservative evangelicals. So far, some are Baptist and some are Reformed, and some identify as both. I don't yet see any Arminian authors in the volumes that will be published next in the series. In general though, series can employ a spectrum of theological perspectives like the NICNT, NIVAC, ZECNT, WBC, and NIGTC series do.
